Todd tries to convince Randy that Marshall is just a fantasy. But Monique brings up at breakfast that by referring to that white boy honking in front of the house that this is no heights, & that he's the one that picked up Chrissie, Efrem & Randy the next morning, & also that Marshall was there with Randy when Chrissie reunited with her family. So I kind of doubt that it was a necessity for Todd to bring up to Randy that Marshall was a fantasy, don't you think?
