I happened to watch Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi on theatres on the first day. It is a simple love story with a small twist. Golden Star Ganesh shines as usual. These kind of movies are his comfort zone. Malavika Nair's role was fantastic.
Highlights of the film: Story: Even when it is a simple routine love story, it has enough twists and turns to engage audience Screenplay: Neat work done here. Past and present scenes beautifully blended to entertain the audience.
Music & BGM: Music is the best part of the film. Even when film goes bit dull, music lifts it up. Bgm suited the scenes. For family audiences, this film is a treat.
Comedy: super.

In the grand tradition of forgettable family entertainment, "Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi" delivers exactly what you'd expect: a cinematic experience that evaporates from your memory faster than cheap perfume on a hot day.
Let's start with the positives, shall we? The heroine, bless her heart, is cute. Not memorable, mind you, but cute enough to distract you momentarily from the impending nap-inducing plot. Speaking of which, the story unfolds predictably, like a toddler trying to solve a Rubik's cube-lots of spinning, no real progress, and you already know how it ends before it begins.
Now, onto the humor. There are a few funny scenes scattered throughout. But oh, the comedy! It's a mixed bag of crassness and misguided attempts at wit. Making fun of black people? Check. Because apparently, in this universe, comedy still hasn't evolved beyond tired stereotypes. And don't get me started on the not-so-subtle message that fair skin reigns supreme, because who needs progressive thinking when you can pander to outdated beauty standards?
In summary, "Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi" scores a solid 5 out of 10. It's an adequate distraction if you're looking to kill time and brain cells simultaneously. Just don't expect to remember anything about it once the credits roll-unless, of course, you have a peculiar fascination with forgettable cinema.

I had a fantastic time watching this movie! The concept was truly original and refreshing, something that kept me engaged from start to finish. The comedy was spot on, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments that had the whole audience in stitches. The humor was cleverly woven into the story, making it not just funny but also meaningful. We enjoyed every minute of it, and it's definitely a film I'd recommend to anyone looking for a good time at the movies!
Just finished watching a movie, and it got me thinking... It felt like the budget was cut too much, even in areas where it really mattered.
Sometimes, spending a bit more on the right scenes can make a huge difference. The story deserved that extra effort!

After seeing the good reviews, I went to watch this movie. Within the first 10 minutes, I nearly dozed off. Then came a comedy track involving a bride search. This is where I lost my sanity. It involves a match maker showing Ganesh an oversized and dark-skinned woman (that too blackfaced!). There are many highly offensive lines for the 5-10 long minutes. If such a thing still passes off as a joke and people still laugh at them, I fear for the future of Karnataka. The writer, director, actors, producer.... were all fine with this. And that says a lot about their intelligence level. The lack of thought (or maybe the inability to think) shows up in the rest of the movie too as lazy jokes, pointless sidetracks, etc. The rest of the movie is actually quite boring, and I can't believe this is a hit movie!
Overall, as I mentioned, this is a trashy movie that insults our intelligence and can be a case study for extremely offensive colorism in India.

This movie is a remake of god knows how many Indian movies of the past. The aging actors of this movie are either overacting or pathetic looking like a cringe fest. The supporting cast are just useless to the story and can hardly see any new face in the movie apart from the lead actress.
Technically this movie is a horror story with almost no effort on writing or direction and just a genuine waste of time and money. The music and songs are the only saving grace of this awful movie to be honest.
It almost looks like a this movie was put together as a fashion show for Ganesh with his supporting cast to cheer on. I wouldn't recommend anyone to waste their time on this movie.
