Straight-To-Video Stoner Comedy

It's an enigmatic tale of a depressed and suicidal man seeking love and finding beautiful women in the country side and being saved by the women and finding true personal release and freedom.

It is a moving tale of how he found joy despite desparate times and turned himself around because he wants to help the women who mysteriously came to him.

It's a nice story and very enjoyable. A commanding early effort from Katsuhito Ishii. A nice debut feature-film. It's very low-budet and without cgi and modern trappings. It's a very typical low-budget 90's striaght-to-video release shot in a fast-turnaround with borrowed equipment.

I really enjoyed the concept and am grateful for Adam at Third Window Films for releasing it as a surprise extra as part of the epic Katsuhito Ishii box-set. It's a simple short story which I don't want to spoil so the review is quite difficult and therefore concise. Please enjoy. 7/10. The first review 'featured' sums it up nicely.
