Where should I start? That it is the best Greek series of recent years, that the cast are actors who have incredible performances? There has been a mix of old well-known actors with new ones and they all play almost equally well.

The story is not at all predictable like in most series and you are not bored in any episode. To find something bad here you have to be the same bad or ignorant.

"The beach" stands out among so many others that are really made to be made Like all the series, there are some small mistakes that do not reduce the overall result at all, such as the accents of the local people who, better for me, did not speak in the Cretan/Greek dialect, like other boring series about vendettas (Sasmos) The music is also very good in the style of seventies.

The script is terrible, the "English" accent of the so called hippies is appalling and I could go on and on... What saves this series is the always superb performance of George Ninios (I compare his participation to this tv show, as if Bayern Munich suddenly participated in the football Greek Super league) and the generally nice cinematography of Matala, but only the beach itself, otherwise the (fake) "village" is a horrible setting. As for previous comments, that old and new actors act equally well, it is an insult to George Ninios (in the very demanding role of Dimitros). Finally, the 7 writers should be publicly hanged as an example for future writers to see what NOT to do!

Did they even research what people used to wear in the late 60s and 70s? Where are the colors? Where is the hippie style? These people are in the 90s, possibly 2000s without the technology.

They practice yoga????? In the 70s?? This is so bad.

The actors are so talented but the story is a copy paste of "Wild Bees" go to the beach.

Great actors wasting their talent on this thin nonsense story.

The producers or whoever is responsible for the continuous destruction of potential good products, should have more respect for the actors and for the audience. And how about doing a project that doesn't look outdated and boringly directed?
