Smoke detector go beep, that earns a 1 star. And that's it. There are more smoke detector beeps than aliens. There are no aliens, spoiler I guess.
The trailer with the floating guy looks fun in that dumb sort of way. Vanity project writer/director/star is a big plus too. But everything about this was misguided.
For example, there are alien space ships hovering in the sky. They've been there for two weeks. Yet the characters talk about what happened at the club, or what has been going on in the neighborhood. There are aliens in the sky yet the movie refuses to put in in the plot.
Also, the same stock footage drone shot of the city skyscrapers is used over and over in the most unusual way. Editing was a fail.
