Definitely an improvement over last week's waste of an episode, but the pacing of this season is still just a train wreck. Anyone calling this the best episode ever I think has been swayed by how abysmal the ones preceding it were. This show would really benefit from a shorter running time per episode. Currently, each one being an hour plus leaves so much filler clogging up the show, which makes the few plot-relevant scenes feel few and far between.

I really think if each episode was brought down to 45 minutes the writers would be forced to make tighter scripts that flow better, that would make them focus on the aspects that actually matter.

This season is the textbook example of all sizzle and no steak.

God, the show is getting incredibly boring this season.

The dialogues and most characters, including but not limited to Frenchie, Starlight, and Kimiko are especially annoying this season, and honestly the only thing that keeps me going are Butcher and Homelander.

It's almost like they decided to take all the disgusting/cringe scenes to the next level, which is fine, but completely forget about what made the boys unique, which is the feeling of being unsafe in a world full of supes...

For some reason it feels like none of the creators of the show take anything seriously anymore, and it's all just a joke to them.

I wish they focused more on what the audience cares about, not what they care about.

WHAT A BUILD, FELT LIKE A SEASON FINALE.

You will be on the edge of your seats, your jaws are gonna drop, the dialogues, screenplay, story telling, you will not be able to predict what's coming.

If anyone disagrees with me they're probably crybabies who don't know the show that well.

Every second of homelander was top notch and just frightening at the same time.

This was the episode THIS IS IT, THIS IS WHERE YOU SEE CINEMA IN A TV SHOW. END.

Miles better than last weeks episode, tying loose ends and progression. This weeks was intriguing and actually fun to watch and thus a great buildup to the final episode "Assassination Run". A catharsis, characters are starting to know where they belong and what they want, moments without confusion overshadowed by cringe. I sense we are creeping towards actual decent closure to what was an unfortunate mediocre season.

This episode had depth and twists, action and gore. It had everything you'd want from The Boys, and i am actually excited for the next installment. "Low budget fight scenes" another reviewer was talking about, i sort of agree they could have been better but from what we've seen this Season this was actually not that bad. A well needed episode.

New players in town, the skin changer sup had a lot of Supernatural vibes.

They did a prefect setup for the finale Ik what happens unfortunately due to leaks(don't worry I'm not saying anything) but the way the played butcher and the boys this episode was a great representation of what's to come. I think they did wonderful with the relationship of MM and A-Train it really showed they care for the wellbeing of eachother and themselves at the same time and the amount of respect they have for one another. My only criticism(very very small) was the pace it could have been faster in some areas but it rly didn't affect the story of this episode. Overall a top 5-7 episode of the show and genuinely tired of these review bombs simply because some conservatives don't like the way their views are portrayed. Finnaly Keep this up Amazon!
