Eva, a Greek-Romanian girl with a psychological speech impediment. Her world is shattered when a tragic accident claims the lives of her parents. Left with no one but her estranged grandfather, Lukas.

When Eva, a young Greek-Romanian girl with a speech impediment, loses both her parents in an accident, Lukas, her grandfather who has never met her, is the only Greek relative who can take care of her but he stubbornly refuses. Eva's unknown fate is now entrusted to Marina, a social worker from a broken home, who decides to fight alongside Luke against his past, forcing him and herself to work for their own salvation for the first time .
