Marks Xuxa's return to the big screen, 14 years after Xuxa and the Mystery of the Little Ugly Princess (2009).

Based on the same Thalita Rebouças novel which inspired It's a Fairy! (2016).

Fernanda de Freitas's television debut was Planeta Xuxa (1997). A huge Xuxa fan, Freitas passed out when hearing she had being cast as one of the "Zodiac Girls" for that show. Freitas was cast on her birthday.

In character, Xuxa impersonates Madonna, Angélica, She-Ra: Princess of Power (1985) (which was aired on Xou da Xuxa (1988) and to which Xuxa performed a theme) and Clara Nunes.

Antônia Périssé (Luna)'s mother Heloísa Périssé starred Xuxa in Abracadabra (2003), wherein the Brazilian girl group Rouge performs their single "Brilha La Luna". This song is featured on this film in reference to its main character, Luna.
