Karuppu Vellai

Its about a corrupt lawyer Nassar who does not hesitate to defend wrong criminal cases for money. His long suffering wife Srividya supports him silently trying to understand and defend him loyally. His son Rahman too is a lawyer but believes his father is the epitome of goodness. Sukanya is an orphan found on the streets by Thilakan . She is brought up by him . Both Sukanya and Rahman meet and fall in love after a couple of duets . Thilakan turns out to be Nassar's father who has left house disillusioned with his son's activities. When Rahman comes to know his father's intentions .he tries to redeem him .A lot of legal tangles , court scenes take place . Finally the entire family unites against the villains . Sukanya turns out to be the child of one such innocent person who was proved guilty by Nassar. Rahman and Sukanya are tall and svelte and are good eye candy . Charlie brings out some comic scenes . Veterans Nassar and SriVidya are a treat to watch in their natural acting . Over all a fine movie with nice songs.
