With so many 3's in the title, the only pleasant surprise in this Deeper DVD is that it contains four vignettes, all of them obviously devoted to threesomes. And all of the 3-ways are in the BGG mode.
Kayden Kross only directs one of the four scenes, the others farmed out to no-name pornographers Bloom and W. C. Walker. The content is just as pretentious as if KK were in charge, however, with pithy dialog worthy of the late Harold Pinter, and pointless firmly in evidence.
Potentially viable but merely stupid is "Spitting Image", where way-overworked Seth Gamble asks his beautiful girlfriend Kiara Cole to organize a threeway with a "twin", namely scouting out another girl who looks like her to join them. Jessie Saint is the fellow blonde she digs up, and it's almost amusing when Saint states the obvious by declaring that they don't really look alike, but Seth is happy and probably the undiscriminating viewer will be too.
A cryptic but flashy scene has Jax Slayher, the black stud whose big dick is his meal ticket, not some minimal acting ability, cast as "talent", supposedly a big draw at a theater, where Kimmy Kimm and Lulu Chu (far closer to vaguely lookalikes than the previous blonde actresses)play the equivalent of stage managers, who keep Jax happy with threesome sex. The contrast in tall Jax versus tiny Chu and Kimm is exploited here, and the title "Little Spoons" refers mysteriously to Jax's anger when he is given tablespoons as a prop rather than the requested teaspoons. We see him briefly sitting at a piano, but I was left wondering, due to my archaic habit of looking for stories where there ain't none, if Jax's act on stage was in the Uri Geller bending spoons tradition.
"Unbroken Hour" is an irritating scene dealing with Markus Dupree never finding the time to be with his girlfriend, so she arranges for a full hour together set at 6pm with the surprise of another girl showing up for a threesome. The couple communicates by writing notes to each other, as in a lipstick message left on a mirror, a stupid storytelling gimmick, when in fact what we get just gonzo humping by the exceedingly boring Dupree and pretty Chanel Grey and Diana Grace.
Remaining vignette is "All In", which per the title opens with a poker game but ends up being an exercise in anal sex, with big-dicked Troy Francisco taking on both Avery Black and Jane Wilde at a retreat. This artsy-fartsy scene directed by Bloom is an embarrassing mixture of gonzo sex and '60s style lyrical montages -sort of flower power meets Buttman. Ugh!
