Early in the movie, Amy is talking to her father. She says that she has to call Italy because it is morning there. However, it is still light outside in New York where she is. She is still in her work outfit so presumably it is at the end of the same workday where we had seen her in the previous couple of scenes. It would have to be the middle of the night for it to be morning in Italy when she called.
In the online article that Amy reads about the chef, his given name is shown in one instance as Marchello, not Marcello.
