"The Driver-Oligarch":
90 minutes of beautiful views of Moscow with music. As strange as it may sound, Pimanov made his best film! Yes, it's not exactly the best Russian comedy I've seen, but compared to his film "Crimea", Oligarch is still watchable! I went to see this film again not of my own free will, but because of my parents, they basically liked the film, but I have some mixed feelings! On the one hand, the film is not bad, there are beautiful views and good music, and a good cast (Priluchny, Chadov, Khrustalev), even Lenya Voronin starred in it (Stanislav Duzhnikov) and by the way with a cameo by Anna Froltseva and a joke about her looking like Galya Voronina from... what the hell...? And "Sorokins" really made me laugh, but on the other hand, this is one of the only jokes where I laughed, well, maybe two more, maximum three and that's it! The film seems to be in the comedy genre, but unfortunately there are very few funny jokes. The love story of Alexandra and Timur is basically not bad and even cute! But the ending of the film devastated me, well, why cut the film off at the most interesting place??? Well, I'll write about the views again, on the one hand they are beautiful, yes, but on the other hand they just increase the already short running time, there really are a lot of them!
In the end, I would like to give the film 6.5 out of 10, only because of Priluchny, for the reference to "Voronins" and for the views of Moscow!
"The Driver-Oligarch" is the case when the trailer is more action-packed than the film itself, alas!
P. S.: This rarely happens to me, but after this "Oligarch Driver" I had to recover by watching "Despicable Me 4", and it was much better than "Driver"!
