If You Can't Beat 'em, Join 'em

This pair of Pure Taboo segments is for fans who enjoy bad scripting - scenes that are not believable from start to finish -merely contrived to set up the sex content and insulting to the viewer's intelligence -par for the course in this series.

Title vignette gives famous sex star Cytherea some acting moments, but her characer is utterly fake. She catches her husband in bed with another woman, his employee from his restaurant, and instead of the usal dramatics she demands that the two make love so she can have a threesome. The twist ending is dumb, dumb, dumb.

"Unqualified" is the second scene, clearly dear to the filmmakers' hearts. It's a repetitive, very phony story based on role reversal: new employee Dante Colle is sexually harassed by his boss (Cherie DeVille) and later the HR lady (Joanna Angel, who also directed) and they laugh at him when he tries to report it, to Joanna of course. Angela and DeVille also penned the screenplay, and take great delight in playing the heavies, lording it over poor Dante and forcing him to have sex with them, including humiliating him as he is forced to lick up Joanna's squirt (Evian, anyone?). It's pure gonzo, and Colle is cast as a perfect little sub once the situation becomes crystal clear. But as a cynical and satirical mock of the unfortunate backlash against the MeToo movement and gains in women's rights it's a ridiculous example of producer Bree Mills' program: pretending to be a porn "maverick".

Only redeeming feature of this DVD is the presence of four brunette bombshells earning their keep as sex workers, overacting aside.
