This is what all movies should aspire to be, and yes, I can say that for many other great movies but I believe this is one of, if not the best example of art in movie form as it presents a good story, great action and phenomenal acting from actor unnimukuntan.
A well written and executed movie. Great performance by Unni and the whole team. It was very engaging and our whole family loved it! A must watch in theatres.
There are some groups degrading this movie because unnimukuntan against terrorist,he is believed in hanuman and he is a true nationalist.
This is another gem from malayalam film industry.

Watched this movie with lot of expectations as the rating and reviews were too high. But I didn't felt it that good for 9.5 rating. Story is ok, and the making also, but may be it wasn't my cup of tea. I won't say it was a waste of money, but not the best either.
I didn't felt it as a good investigation thriller movie, felt like I need a better knowledge in cyber security and all to understand it more.
Unni Mukundan was good, he handled the role of a handicapped guy pretty much well. I am really glad that they didn't brought a cliche of the hero getting cured through a miracle at the end.
Overall the movie is onetime watchable. A.

It is a classic example of being misled by a movie title. With a name like this, you would expect a mythological or devotional movie, whereas it is an investigative thriller.
This movie is about a brilliant but handicapped cartoonist and ethical hacker who works as a designer in a media firm. He helps the police find a kidnapper using his talents.
The title of the movie comes from the superhero cartoon series he develops, named Jai Ganesh. The story may not be unique, but it keeps you engaged throughout its entire runtime. The thriller elements are well-packaged, keeping your eyes glued to the screen to find out what the next revelation will be. The way he connects the dots to find the kidnapper or the kid is well-written.
It is an Unni Mukundan show, and he performs really well, demonstrating that given good characters, he can pull off any role. The other actors lend support to the main character and have done a decent job.
The music is a big letdown, with not a single number working in its favor. Even the background score is underwhelming. The police are depicted as mere puppets, knowing nothing about solving the case and relying entirely on this outsider, which is far-fetched. But it doesn't really hamper your viewing as you can take that with a pinch of salt.
If the movie had a title more true to its story and genre, it could have worked wonders. I really enjoyed it as it is a good thriller and can be watched with your entire family. #pranureviews #JaiGanesh #JaiGaneshReview.

First of all, the film was okay to watch, however, not that exhilarating but it maintained 2023 film, Vela's pacing. Some say clues were simple, but often to connect them and to make it sensible is what defines this specific genre, like the Professor T, tv-series. A thing I liked about the film was that Jomol was brought back, someone should have taken that initiative years ago. It was a very appreciative thing, and I hope to see her more. Thing's I didn't like, the promotion interviews, I heard him saying he had chances to go into Hindi films, and he didn't choose it. I believe, he has to cut back on building a superstar image, and be just an actor, cause at that he has been doing well, but taking the other idiotic path, and that too by won't help him. Second, the negative image, and whatever he himself and others are trying to make him, a semi-militant religious figure, I have seen posts were people are asking to not support releasing his films at certain places due to those reasons, it is going to be bad for him, if it is not stopped. Like pouring oil to fire, some are saying this is a super hero film like his previous film that was based on religion, while the truth is, it is about super hero complex, and finding meaning of life through it. He has to follow Vineeth Sreenivasan's diplomatic style around these matters. Third, story inconsistency, if the police knew the person, they could have done what all cinematic police would do, so that did not sit well with me. Character depiction, he himself hasn't accepted his fate, and that is the root of his anger, but to enhance his superstar image, he made the statement he has accepted his situation and others have not. That kind of meddled with the narrative, and it wasn't needed at all. Otherwise, it's a passable film. Since, there were 3 films that released together, I would also like to mention here what I thought of the other two ones as well, and what I felt the overall state of them were. Varshangalkku Sesham, was a film that it's first half did not connect with me, and the fact that Kalyani was included made it very, very cringey. Though, Vineeth saved the film through the second half with his creative script writing, especially through placement of elements and what would reels feeding audience would like to see. Overall, the second half felt like an attempt to save the film at any cost, but it was enjoyable. Moreover, it showcases Vineeth's deeper understanding of human and social psyche, even though he hasn't openly revealed about it, his works ascertain it. I loved how he trolled the Big Boss screaming star and an anchor who usually brings that energy, the fact that there are sane souls who can do it, makes me feel calm. I liked Shaan Rahman's acting and role, and want to see him in more films, it seemed like he has a talent for it. I liked Dhyan's and Pranav's acts as oldies rather than their depiction of younger selves, cause the vibe seemed more natural. Pranav consistently reminded me of Bharat Gopy, more than Murali Gopi to an extend that reminded me of Jagathy's dialogue in Yoddha, where he says his mother did not give him "tea".... Dhyan's almost crying scene reminded me of how Mohanlal mocked Sreenivasan's character in Udayanaanu Tharam, I felt like there was some sort of truth revealing there, and an unintentional sarcasm. About, Avesham, I felt a better title would have been "the good goon/goonda" like "good unni," and I believe without the last sequence, the film would have been a box-office flop if people where there to seriously criticize such a silly film. It did not have any solid value base, like a strong internal dynamics or that internal setup between characters like in Romacham, cause in it story was said from that substrate, and I believe that is what made people connect with it. Aavesham is based on an unbelievable character arc, loose consequences, and background story, though it exudes a sort of freedom, and could be considered as a story of a goon who goes through a mid-life crisis and is always seeking recognition, and in this it is trying to identify with youths, but that is a stretch that the film isn't making but could have. If they want, they can capture on that tread and make sequels like Munna Bhai MBBS. Fahadh has already proven that he is the king of depicting eccentric characters, so nothing special there, he delivered what was expected of him, but I wish to see him not typecasted. The only thing that I felt curious was the Ambaan character, and he strongly reminded me of Baiju Ezhupunna. However, the fact that there is a growing fan base for FaFa in North India as well is undeniable, among all the other Malayalam actors who have been in multilingual films, I believe he is the only one that excites them as well, and could be called as a pan-Indian star in the real sense. Overall, these 3 films felt like they were just passable, and since it was three different genres, people did have the opportunity to see whatever they felt like. The box office numbers also made me wonder how people are finding money to see them all three. Somehow, there is a steady flow of wealth despite the inflation and lack of quality jobs and pay.
First half were good. Its like watching another version of Su Su Sudhi Vatmeekam. Ofcourse ranjith is known by presenting those in a good manner.
But the 2nd half was terrible. Thrilling portions failed to bulid thrill (except in climax portion). Crew could have research more about the cyber security, AI, VPN, hacking... The clearly have no knowledge it seems. They are showing some app to trace a face (which is stupid and doesn't exist). Before creating a script, they could seek a webpage designer's help. Every clues in the movies are so simple and the IT genius in the movie failed to solve.
Acting wise, Unni mukundan did a good job. He delivered his max. Also Ashokan & villian's acting were also very good. Mahima's were normal (which is a surprise, i though she would ruin it).
Overall its below average for me. They failed to execute a pretty good plot in a technically brilliant way.
Reducing the star because of misleading malayalam audience as fool who could digest this tech based foolishness. For the poor narration of 2nd half. Also seem some rating done by fans saying Unni is a hanuman devotee (which has nothing to do woth the film). Art is art. Stop promoting something with the sake of another fictional characters.... {By reducing star, i hope the final rating will be tally}.

**Jai Ganesh** is a film that had a promising premise, but unfortunately, the execution fell short in several areas. One of the most notable shortcomings in this movie is the acting by Unni Mukundan, who plays a pivotal role.
### **Performance Analysis:**
**1. Lack of Emotional Depth:** Unni Mukundan's portrayal of the lead character lacked the necessary emotional depth. Throughout the film, crucial scenes that demanded a strong, emotive performance felt flat and uninspiring. This was particularly evident in scenes where his character faced personal turmoil and this inability to convey genuine emotion detracted from the overall impact of the film.
**2. Inconsistent Delivery:** Consistency is key to a compelling performance, and unfortunately, Unni's acting was rather uneven. At times, his delivery came off as overly theatrical, bordering on melodramatic, while in other instances, it was overly subdued. This inconsistency made it difficult for viewers to connect with his character or fully invest in the storyline.
**3. Limited Range:** The role demanded a versatile actor capable of showcasing a range of emotions, from joy and love to anger and despair. However, Unni's limited range was evident as he struggled to transition between different emotional states convincingly. This limitation was especially glaring in scenes that required quick emotional shifts, where his performance felt forced and unnatural.
**4. Dialogue Delivery:** A critical aspect of any actor's performance is the delivery of dialogue, and this is another area where Unni Mukundan faltered. His dialogue delivery often came across as wooden and lacked the necessary conviction. Key lines that were meant to be impactful fell flat due to his inability to breathe life into the words.
**5. Physical Expressions:** Acting is as much about physical expressions as it is about verbal delivery. Unni's facial expressions and body language often did not align with the emotions his character was supposed to be experiencing. Whether it was a look of concern, joy, or anger, his expressions felt disconnected from the narrative, making it hard for audiences to empathize with his character.
While "Jai Ganesh" had potential, Unni Mukundan's performance was a significant weak link. His portrayal lacked the depth, consistency, and authenticity needed to bring the character to life. As a result, what could have been a powerful and engaging story felt rather hollow and underwhelming. Moving forward, it would benefit Unni to focus on honing his craft, perhaps by taking on roles that push him to explore a wider emotional range and to connect more deeply with his characters.

I would rate it 10/10 for its gripping storyline, acting and overall message it intends to convey. The film deserves a lot more appreciation than it has received.
While many may feel its a Hindu propaganda film due the title, it serves a strong message to all sections of the community. The film spreads awareness about the challenges faced by the disabled community , their resilience and importance to the overall society.
Unni mukundan was outstanding in his portrayal of the lead and was well supported by fellow star cast. The background score and screenplay was equally engrossing serving total entertainment for the entire length of the movie.

Jai Ganesh
This is a story of a differently abled person and how he lives through his incompetencies with extraordinary mind power and creative skills.
The film moves through a faster track and he gets involved in cracking certain high profile police cases with his extraordinary abilities.
Unni Mukundan's characterisation as a differently abled creative person doesn't seems to be so realistic and Mahima Nambiar's characterisation seems to be unnecessary in the story.
The second half of the movie is completely into the investigation behind a kidnap of a child who is having a close rapport with Unni's character and he gets involved to the case as he was the eye witness to the incident.
In overall,I felt something was lacking in Ranjiths story telling compared to his previous films. I couldn't digest what the director wants to convey through the movie, whether he was trying to create a super hero for Children.
The movie didn't rise upto the expectation of general audience even with the promotions.
Rating - 2.5/5.

The movie is well made with very good acting by Unnimukundan. Got a good story line and.highlight the present political status. Best example for a corrupt system. Well taken. The police force tend to show their impatience. But at the end , it is a happy ending. A very good family entertainer. A good message to the corrupt system. Hope the politicians will learn some lessons from such movies. Or they will perish as the time passes. Need such movies to high light the corrupt political system. There are few lapses in the authenticity of the cyber data analysis etc which you need to forget as it is a movie.

I did like the concept and the story was alright but sadly the movie was not up to the mark. Jai Ganesh is not at all engaging and I don't understand how Ranjith Shanker can make a movie like this.
Things like hacking and VPNs may be famous among the contemporary generation and they might enjoy seeing that but that's not the case with the older generation, they are not that aware of all these things. The creators could have at least simplified all these technical things but they went for a different treatment and that combined with Unni's worse acting made the movie a mediocre one.
One time watch movie.

This is a great movie with a lot of message to the society. Anyone can be a superhero and that is greatly conveyed through this film.
Unni mukundan's acting has been phenomenal and he has really matured as an actor. Mahima need to improve but still there is a lot of improvement from her previous work. The first half is really good and maybe the second half could have been made better but still it's a great entertainer for family audience.
Hoping to see Unni Mukundan taking such roles and improving further to become a leading hero in Mollywood.
Great value for money and time. You should definitely watch this movie with family.

Overall it was a very good movie. It inspires people to fight even in adverse situations. It flags social issues. A good script and overall a good entertainment. Unfortunately I think it was not given the publicity it deserves. The character played by Mahima has slightly lesser role as compared to normal expectations. Unni Mukundan has created a very good, rock solid place in Malayalam Movie industry.
The kid's acting was refreshing and he deserves to be praised.
The ratings reflects a pattern of negative propaganda against the protagonist. It also reflects a sick mentality of certain sections who dislikes and likes a movie or an actor/actress based on religious lines instead of the content, directions or acting.
Families can go and watch the movie. It will be liked by kids and parents alike.

It's a nice family movie, intelligent work done by the crew in delivering the tricky content. It has given a new dimension to the concept of superheroes without making them superhumans who do the impossible. This character can be seen in many of the people around us who have a strong hold in a specific area later which turns to a useful deed for people who would least expect it. Do not expect much action or a fast moving film, but as a movie which gives insight into how technology can be put to best use for the benefit of mankind. I seriously doubt the intentions of the ones who were degrading it. Strongly suggest Watching it.

All superheroes are not perfect human beings. They can be humans with flaws but their actions sometimes make them superheroes. Loved the movie for its simplicity and the way it has been executed. It tells you that you can't always be right at the first time, but you need to keep on trying until the last moment. It surely is a thriller with simple characters who are not larger than life people. There are some cliches but they are not so bad to ignore the movie. Those could be forgiven. All the actors have done their job perfectly. The movie kept me engaged throughout and there was never a dull moment for me. Overall a good movie to watch with family.

It's truly perplexing how certain individuals are quick to judge this movie without giving it a fair chance. Let me set the record straight: this film is an absolute gem, a gripping thriller that resonates with audiences of all ages. From the very beginning, it grabs your attention with a solid first half that lays the groundwork for what's to come. But it's the second half that truly shines, with heart-pounding moments that keep you glued to your seat, unsure of what's coming next. Unni Mukundan and the entire cast deliver exceptional performances, adding depth and authenticity to the story. Their portrayal of the characters is so convincing that you can't help but become emotionally invested in their journey. And let's not forget about the seamless direction and captivating cinematography that elevate the overall experience. As the credits rolled, I found myself eagerly anticipating the sequel, hungry for more of the thrills and excitement that this movie delivered. In a world filled with cookie-cutter films, this one stands out as a true testament to the power of storytelling and filmmaking. Don't let the naysayers deter you - give this movie a chance, and you'll be glad you did.
Jai Ganesh is a well made nail biting thriller movie with a fresh story. The main protagonist is a quadriplegic portrayed by Unni Mukundan. Kudos to him for the effort which portrays the hardships of a disabled in the current Kerala urban society which should be an eye opener in the current society. All the characters have did their part very well , special appreciation to the kid in the movie who made the movie even more interesting. The movie also shows Jomol in a good role. Mahima plays the female lead who is an inspirational character. After a while Asokan has been cast in a good role as Unni Mukundan's father.
This movie definitely deserves more applause than it has currently gained. I was surprised that only few movie theatres shows this movie.

A good story line and a suspense thriller. This movie kept me waiting to till the end. This origin story of Jai Ganesh has set the track for more of it's instalment as India's own super hero to come in the future. The main character played by Unni Mukundan, also shows us to never give up even when you hit rock bottom. The actor has evolved a lot after Meppadiyan and Malikappuram. He is able to show the emotions and make the audience appreciate his dialogue delivery as well. I wish more of Jai Ganesh movies to come and people are able to watch it before judging it just by it's name. All the best to Unni Mukkundan and his team.

Literally I cried in the part where the little girl died infront of her father. Unni mukundan has showed as that how a handicaped man's life would be. A well written story with enough suspenses to sit the audience in the theatre till the film's end. There is not much role for the actress as the film is fully concentrated in the hero. The actors who handled the roles of the police officers did their role best. Especially the lady officer who works in the cyber police department. There is a good story, there are some deep emotional scenses,a social messages everything is included in this film. So this is a good family entertainer. Thank You for reading my review.

One of the best Malayalam thriller movie. Really worth to watch especially who loves and like thirillers. Hats off Mr. Unni Mukundan and the whole team.
The movie shines in its attempt to tackle superstition and societal prejudice, making it relatable for many viewers who have faced or witnessed such discrimination Strong Performances: The cast, especially child actor Aryan Chaudhary as Ganesh, delivers touching and convincing performances that draw viewers into the emotional depths of the story. Shreyas Talpade's portrayal of a mentor figure is also noteworthy.
Cultural Resonance: The film resonates deeply with its Marathi audience, tapping into the rich culture and traditions of rural Maharashtra, while still offering a universal message of hope and perseverance.
Direction and Cinematography: Saurabh Sinha's direction ensures a fine balance between drama and realism, and the cinematography captures the beauty of rural landscapes while highlighting the inner struggles of the characters.

"Jai Ganesh," a Malayalam movie, delivers a simple yet compelling story with an intense and captivating flow.
