Featured review
Touche pas à mon poste is definitely one of the greatest ever shows to come out of France, and really represented true freedom of speech and expression, and it is such a shame that Arcom had shut down C8 (the TV channel that broadcast this show) due to some of the controversial nature of the political beliefs and what-not, which I personally never had an issue with (and actually kind of enjoyed), as it showed that this programme was NOT AFRAID to speak out their minds on certain events, news stories, that kind of thing.
With the shutdown of C8 directly because of this wonderful programme, the freedom of speech in France is being rapidly deteriorated thanks to Arcom, and I wouldn't want to imagine what things would be like in a couple years from now. It would definitely be a dystopia that I would never want to be a part of, that's for sure!
All in all, where most other programmes are 'too afraid' to touch on certain topics and current events, Touche pas à mon poste was brave to cover them head on, in a really admirable way that I'll forever miss now that C8 is gone for good. Truly one of (if not) my most favourite French TV programmes of all time, and one that will always leave a lasting legacy in my heart.
