This adaptation really brings the webtoon to life. I'm always worried that an adaptation will change too much about the original, but so far, the only changes made have been improvements.
The chemistry from the characters is really good. The romance is super sweet and I love how they communicate well. I've never been super impressed by Cha Eun Woo's acting in the past, but every character was a perfect casting this time around.
I started this review when it was still ongoing and unfortunately I wasn't able to finish it. The plot lost it's tension and importance and I feel like it should've ended sooner before boring itself out.

Park Gyu-young plays Han Hae-na a teacher whose family live under a centuries old curse where when she kisses a man she turns into a dog every night until she is kissed as the dog. On a drunken night out she ends up kissing Jin Seo-won played by Cha Eun-woo, he is not the man she likes or intended to kiss and on top of that he is terrified of dogs. The series is based on a popular webtoon and it is a clever plot with the earlier episodes dealing with a group of people trying to expose the strange family and later episodes dealing with the origins of the curse. Super acting from the leads and supporting cast and an entertaining watch which has a good balance of drama and humour.

After long time watched some good romcom fantasy story. It is not some fantabulous story but a good one you can watch atleast once.
Both leads have chemistry. In starting I feel they need some improvements in their expressions after few episodes they were good.
Whene it comes to story line, it is very simple fantasy drama with love story that was so cute, I don't feel bored in any of the episodes infact I have finished drama in one day.
The one think I dislike is so many repeated flashback that was irritating. And their previous story is also not that much good It was silly. Not only in this drama most of the kdramas have some silly back stories which is not really worth for suspense.

Light as a feather and very adorable. I fell in love from the first episode and it gets better and better. I don't usually watch ongoings, but this one is too tempting. The best recipe for rainy and dark autumn days - rewatch the first episodes. Can't wait for the next one!
The plot is rather refreshing, it doesn't have lots of twists so far, but it's really interesting. I feel for the main character, I'm also very afraid of dogs. Generally I won't watch a dog related drama, but the conflict here is amazing, the actors make it as true to life as it can be. The love story is only just beginning but I can tell that it's going to be a sweet one. The chemistry is already full on!

It's been a while since I watched this show. So it's not with a fresh memory. Maybe it was 2 months or 3 months ago, I'm not sure? I really think that just looking back on it I'm not loving the memories. I somehow just don't like the environment and atmosphere? Like the friends and family of the female lead and her abode weren't leaving strong impressions for me to want to go back and watch it again or anything like that. And the buildup of the plot was kind of slow and meandering at times. But I really like the plot and the interactions between the male lead and the female lead. It's very cool to see how they grow together and how they overcome their obstacles. And the premise of the show is very interesting and unique. It's a very cute show in a way. I'm pretty sure if you watched it you would be entertained. It's about someone who has a curse and she needs to have the curse lifted. She accidentally activated the curse from it's dormant stage and now has to break it.

Dorama is good, I really like it. Although only a couple of episodes came out, but I can't wait to find out what will happen next! The actors' acting is excellent, the chemistry is present, the plot is interesting! I think that these qualities are necessary for the start of a wonderful movie. I have been following Cha eun-woo's work for a very long time, we can say that it was he who brought me to the "World of Doramas". Personally, I really like his game and the chemistry is present. Cha Eun-woo, you are a great fellow, I really want to support you in this work. Strength to you and great patience! With great faith and love, fans from Russia! We are very rooting for your role and work.

Korean Drama '' A Good Day To Be A Dog '' is a cute fantasy romantic comedy.
The drama has an adorable love story with a couple that oozes chemistry and has many romantic moments together.
The melodrama was enjoyable as well, though, towards the ending, it got a bit too much. The past story was boring as well. But, the main one had enough thrilling moments, action, and a nice pace, that balanced the rest.
Finally, the performances were all enjoyable by every actor and actress in the cast. The CGI, on the other hand, were bad. The costumes were nice, though...
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Fed up with the usual K-drama clichés of revenge and office romance, I stumbled upon this gem that got me genuinely excited. The storyline is refreshingly unique, a breath of fresh air in a sea of predictability. If you're a rom-com enthusiast, this drama is tailor-made for you. It's not your typical drama; it's a delightful rollercoaster of emotions.
Now, let's talk about Cha Eunwoo. This guy nailed it as Seowon-like, seriously, did he teleport from the webtoon or what? His portrayal is spot-on, making you feel like you're watching the characters come to life. And it's not just him; the entire cast deserves a round of applause. Their acting adds so much flavor to the drama; you'll be hooked from the first episode.
This show had me hooked with its clever plot twists and heartwarming moments.
And can we talk about the sheer cuteness factor? Brace yourself for a dose of adorableness that'll leave you grinning like a fool. It's a feel-good drama that knows how to tug at your heartstrings without being overly dramatic. Honestly, I couldn't resist recommending it to everyone I know.

When the drama appeared, I didn't know whether to watch it, because I don't like stories with transformation into an animal. The title of the drama was also confusing. But the drama starred Cha Eun Woo, so I definitely decided to watch the drama. After watching the first episodes, I was very glad that I didn't give up watching. The drama is very light, kind, and sometimes funny. After watching, I felt relaxed and happy. This drama is perfect for watching after work, on an autumn evening. Cha Eun Woo has matured a lot and does a great job in his role. The rest of the actors also do a good job, the atmosphere of the drama is very good.

"A Good Day to be a Dog" is a lovely *TREAT* for avid Kdrama watchers who just want a nice romance Kdrama following a beautiful couple that have funny banter, extremely cute and butterfly inducing moments, and maybe a deeper, interesting plot as well. I was pleasantly surprised at how intimate, funny, passionate, and deep this show would be. 9.5/10.
There are some stereotypical plot points (dopelganger second life for this one), but this still feels very much like a "new wave" Kdrama in that each episode feels more purposeful and less like dramatic fillers to waste the audience's time and string them along. If you enjoyed Hidden Love, Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Twinkling Watermelon, you will love this. I'm hooked and I've still got 6 episodes to go (at the time of writing this I've finished episode 10).
The main leads have fiery hot chemistry, just give it a bit (episode 6-8). The kiss scenes are some of the best I've seen! No spoilers but I caught a glimpse of Eunwoo's tongue in there... scandalous!!
It definitely has the "written by a woman" vibes, and since it's based on a Webtoon, that checks out. Every episode more that has passed I've felt more and more like I was being handed a personal gift by the creators of this show, who clearly took time to understand what Kdrama watchers enjoy before setting out to make this. Again, I felt that with both Hidden Love and Hometown in similar ways.
Speaking of Eunwoo, this is his best acting work ever and I love seeing him shine in a role very literally tailor made for him, featuring serenading singing scenes, a fittingly reserved/shy but passionate and loving character, and always, always outfits that expose his glorious forearm veins. He is perfect, perfection in this, and his female lead is also perfect.
The side characters are interesting and lovable as well, and I've yet to be bored. I usually watch Kdramas at a bit of a fast pace (literally, I will increase playback speed sometimes), but with this, I've been taking my dear time and savoring it. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

The drama is so so cute the plot is smooth and gives you butterflies in your stomach the only flaw here is the delaying of the episodes which is the producing channel fault here
otherwise the drama is so good and the actors are really suitable for their roles
And of course I really admire Cha eunwoo and the effort he puts in all his dramas
He was so good in the past too but here he is soo perfect and his acting really improved alot I'm a big fan of him now
Also i love the chimestiry between the eunwoo and gyuyoung they are soo cute
It's my comfort drama now whenever I watch it I smile automatically
Can't wait for more episodes.
My opinion:
It was, Awesome. Visuals, story, actors and IDEA were chefs kiss. Everything was Awesome. And honestly she is one of the prettiest actors I've ever seen. It was also my first k drama I watched, glad to see Eun Woo was one of a main characters. And it even has a happy ending.
What I actully liked: I really like the idea of her being a dog and he having a fear of dogs. It's like enemies to lovers drama but little bit diffrent. First nine episodes are chefs kiss, and the other last episodes are explanation how did she became a dog. I actully like that, I like how that is at the end and didn't ruin me the beggining of k drama.
What I actully did not like: At first I did not really like the last episodes but after watching True Beauty and other k dramas it's the worst thing you can think of that was the worst.
Finale opinion: There are some usless parts but they are interesting and fun to watch so at the end this k drama does not have anything bad. Definitely must watch if you didn't. Bye now💋.

I liked everything about this series, it's fun, it's refreshing, it has everything, but most important, it has an awesome and perfect cast. I loved it.
The chemistry of the main couple is amazing, they have worked together before so they know each other and they work well together.
The director did a great job with the casting too.
I love that it's very similar to the webtoon, great story and great scenery too.
I hope it gets a higher rating and lots of great reviews.
Cha Eun Woo did an amazing job as Jin Seowon, he's a great actor in every series or movie he has worked.
I hope this series gets all the love it deserves.

This Kdrama is a great mix of cuteness, romance, mystery and comedy. The chemistry between the leading casts are cute & great and also CHAEUNWOO'acting skills are amazing. The role of Jin SeoWon really fits with him. He did a great job in this drama and never disappoint to the viewers. I m looking forward to CHAEUNWOO, a new role that will challenge him with his emotions. You can laugh and cry at the same time while watching this dram. CHAEUNWOO is an excellent actor. I am loving this drama and the character of Jin SeoWon. It'ss a very healing drama and this drama is a really worth watching drama.

I just finished binge watching the full show. "A Good Day to be A Dog" is a must-watch for anyone seeking a feel-good series with a unique twist. It has a very interesting storyline. I loved seeing Cha Eun Woo's character development; he did great and I'm so proud of him! The cast was fantastic. "A Good Day to be A Dog" made me laugh, and it also had me crying so hard. Whether it's the heartfelt interactions between characters or the emotionally-packed back-story, the series strikes a chord with its emotional authenticity. I would definitely recommend it and rewatch it. Thank you so much for the experience!

Very enjoyable! This series is absolutely hilarious in places. A fun and likable series with delightful characters, including those in secondary roles, such as the sister and her boyfriend--and I especially liked Yul, the mother, and even the mysterious mountain god. And Cocoa was engaging and lovable. If you like dogs, don't miss this one! For some reason this hasn't received a stellar rating on IMDB, but it deserves one. While this is just a lighthearted fantasy, it manages to maintain believability within the fictional setting. I know it's hard to work with animals, so thanks for making the effort.

A great realistic fairy tale and a middle school or young adult type of romance kdrama,
Both main leads look beautiful to look at, even if you dont like the drama :) but if you are into art, both have great realistic characters and are great actors for 21st century rom com. He has potential for acting a wide range of roles, he is an excellent actor. She is Meg Ryan type great for rom com.
It starts looking fluffy and then you realize ... it isnt :) it IS light and positive and uplifting and has that "all is possible" vibe that children and young at heart have.
Great for those of us adults who are of "that kind" wink you will know what i mean if you watch it
Bc although this kdrama looks fluffy and cheery, it is super deep and somewhat akin to movie Men in Black as you realize you dont really know who and what the "people" around you ARE :) And that you should check yoyr facts before you start 1500 years of revenge lol And that your innocence, purity and good intentions are very powerful protection, actually.
The drama promotes dogs successfully lol
Imo the movie has a lot to do with creating good karma, good communication, and working together
The last shadow show is AMAZING in ep 14.
