People think of war as a struggle for every moment of every day. In fact, only those who have experienced it know that war is about waiting, waiting for the attack, waiting for the gunshot, waiting for the next meal, waiting for the next charge, waiting for every dark and dawn.

It is one of short war films who I love in profound sense. For the wise manner to use difficult themes, for performance, for shocking end who seems predictable but remains strange, for great message and for the feeling to discover an old parable about the contain of ages, fundamental choices and faith. The photography is great, like the beautiful dialogue. A film who deserves to see it maybe twice. Not for understand the so simple story but for discover the sense of time, war, childhood and the significance of a pocket watch or a poem covered by blood.
