Australian actor Rebel Wilson is standing true to her name through her explosive memoir titled Rebel Rising. The celebrity has been in the hot seat recently for many bold claims that she has made in her book. The most controversial confession involves Sacha Baron Cohen who was accused by Wilson for his allegedly deplorable behavior towards her on set.

Rebel Wilson‘s memoir Rebel Rising will be printed in the United Kingdom with several passages relating to Sacha Baron Cohen redacted.
The 44-year-old Pitch Perfect actress referred to the 52-year-old actor as a “massive a-shole” within the pages of the book and alleged that he was threatening her about it before the book’s release earlier this month.
She reflected on working with Sacha on The Brothers Grimsby, and he denied the many allegations.
Rebel‘s publishing house Harper Collins explained the decision to remove certain segments of the memoir, and Sacha‘s team responded.

“We are publishing every page, but for legal reasons, in the U.K. edition, we are redacting most of one page with some other small redactions and an explanatory note,” Harper Collins explained in a statement shared with The Guardian. “Those sections are a very small part of a much bigger story.

When asking viewers to list the qualities that best characterize a Zack Snyder film, ‘slow motion’ is probably going to be mentioned nine times out of ten. Rebel Moon, his 2023 American epic space opera flick, is probably well-known to those who enjoy visually stunning stories and epic action sequences. In addition, if you have watched the movie, you might have noticed the unusual use of ‘slow motion’.
Naturally, the renowned filmmaker is well aware of that, and during an interview with Wired, he discussed why and how he approaches those kinds of scenes and the kinds of rules he sets for himself and his team while filming.

Additionally, when asked why Rebel Moon uses slow motion so much, the 300 director gave an “obvious” yet insightful response, stating that the slow motion is “awesome”.

Zack Snyder has been a hot and cold figure in the DC fandom. Even though he has been regarded as one of the most talented filmmakers to have even been part of the franchise, his approach towards certain characters raised several eyebrows during his time working in the universe. He made several fundamental changes to certain characters that completely went against their moral code.
Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel
The best example would be the fact that Ben Affleck’s Batman killed 30 people in the SnyderVerse. In almost every version of the character, the no-killing rule has been the only separation between the Caped Crusader and the villains he fights. Another perfect example would be that of Superman.

Warning! Major spoilers ahead for Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.
Zack Snyder explains why Gunnar's death in Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver is a crucial part of Kora's larger arc. Gunnar's death in the Netflix sequel is one of the film's most emotional moments. Gunnar's purpose in the sequel is to bring out Kora's deeper emotions, and he represents her first love.
Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver director Zack Snyder explains one of the movie's biggest character deaths. Picking up after the end of Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, which hit Netflix in December, the space opera sequel sees Kora (Sofia Boutella) and her gang of fighters team with a village of peaceful farmers to fend off an incursion from the evil Imperium. The film features a prolonged battle sequence with a number of key characters meeting their ends, but perhaps the most...

Rebel Moon's couldn't avoid Star Wars comparisons. Rebel Moon's storylines felt unfinished, and its character beats...undeveloped. Despite its reviews, Rebel Moon still seems to have a future.
Rebel Moon was among the most anticipated sci-fi franchises of modern times, but something clearly went wrong with it. Although Rebel Moon's production officially began sometime in 2021, the film has technically been in development for over two decades. Zack Snyder conceived the core ideas behind the film franchise's narrative when he was in college and even discussed it with co-writer Kurt Johnstad in 1997.
With Zack Snyder at its helm, Rebel Moon was already selling itself as a visually stunning and memorable sci-fi flick that could rank among Netflix's most profitable IPs. Even the film's initial trailers, casting choices, and story elements promised that it would potentially captivate audiences worldwide. However, not everything seems to have gone as planned since the Rebel...

Zack Snyder has previously teased that his Rebel Moon and Army of the Dead franchises are connected. Snyder clarifies that a Xanadite girl seen in Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire provides this connection. The character, who originated in the scrapped Army animated show, comes from the planet that is the source of the zombie plague.
Zack Snyder has revealed which character connects Rebel Moon to Army of the Dead. The former title is Zack Snyder's space opera movie series, which began with Part One: A Child of Fire on Netflix in 2023 and is intended to launch a wide-ranging multimedia franchise that includes prequels, comic books, a narrative podcast, multiple sequels, and more. The latter title is Snyder's previous Netflix franchise, a post-apocalyptic zombie universe that already includes a movie, a prequel, a scrapped animated spinoff, and a possible sequel. Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver debuts to a 14% Rotten Tomatoes score, the worst of his career. The first Rebel Moon movie was his previous worst at 21%. Critics take issue with the movie's lack of character development and hollow story.
Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver debuts to the worst score of Zack Snyder's entire filmography on Rotten Tomatoes. Serving as a sequel to Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, the upcoming sequel continues the story of Sofia Boutella's Kora as she gathers a team to defend the peaceful farming planet of Veldt. The first movie memorably didn't fare well with critics, who largely criticized the Netflix sci-fi for feeling derivative and lacking in character development.
With Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver reviews now being released online, the sequel has debuted on Rotten Tomatoes to a dismal score of only 14% with 29 reviews.

Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver delivers on action promised in the first installment. Lack of character development hinders emotional connection and impact of the storyline. Despite potential, film fails to invest in characters, leaving viewers detached from the plot.
Despite my negative thoughts about Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire, I truly was curious about Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver, the second movie in Zack Snyder's growing Netflix sci-fi franchise. A Child of Fire was largely set-up, putting the pieces into place for an epic battle between the forces of good and evil. When it comes to the action that was promised at the end of the first Rebel Moon, Snyder certainly delivers. But the issues from the first installment are still there — and, in some ways, they only get worse.

It’s season finale time for networks, but Netflix, naturally, still has plenty of brand new TV and shows coming in May.
Jeff Daniels makes his TV return in the David E. Kelley series “A Man in Full.” That six-episode series is based on the bestselling book of the same name by Tom Wolfe. Per a press release: “When Atlanta real estate mogul Charlie Croker faces sudden bankruptcy, political and business interests collide as Charlie defends his empire from those attempting to capitalize on his fall from grace.” The series will also star Tom Pelphrey, Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, William Jackson Harper, Aml Ameen, Sarah Jones, Jon Michael Hill and Chanté Adams.
Additionally, comedy fans can get excited for a new special series from John Mulaney. The comedian is hosting a multi-night event, “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA,” that looks to be part interview show and part man-on-the-street hijinks.

The second part of Zack Snyder’s epic space opera Rebel Moon is all set to release on Netflix on April 19. A follow-up to last year’s Part 1: A Child of Fire, the second part titled Part 1: The Scargiver continues the journey of Kora and her fight against the Motherworld. The two-part epic came on the heels of Snyder’s last film with Netflix, Army of the Dead.
Zack Snyder has always tackled big-scale productions in his filmography. Beginning his career as a director with a remake of Dawn of the Dead, the filmmaker has made numerous blockbusters such as 300, Man of Steel, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and Watchmen. While Snyder has a penchant for large-scale epics, he mentioned to FandomWire what kind of film he wanted to explore with his next project.

Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver is a story of war and rebellion, but at its heart lies redemption and healing for the characters. Each character has their own reasons for joining the fight against the Imperium and Motherworld, whether to make up for past sins or save innocents. The cast embodies the complex dynamics of villains driven by evil and heroes seeking redemption and healing, making for a compelling story.
Kora and the other rebels continue their fight against the Imperium in an attempt to save Veldt from the encroaching forces of the Motherworld in Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver.
