Mumbai, Jan 25: Popular TV actor Vivian Dsena says his recently announced exit from the show "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" came after a mutual decision was taken by him, the show's producers and the Colors. Besides, he wasn't convinced about playing a grown-up girl's father following a time leap.
"It is the decision of the makers of the show. I think whatever they are doing is best for the show," Vivian told reporters here Friday at the show's press conference.

Mumbai, Jan 23: The story of popular TV show "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" will take a leap forward by a few years in February, and it will lose its male lead Vivian Dsena, who plays the role of superstar Rishabh Kundra aka R.K.
However, the show will introduce new characters.
"Come February, 'Madhubala - Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon', will undergo a leap. The leap will be a natural progression which will present a fresh storyline and perspective to the strong audience base who have loved the show and watched it consistently since it first launched," a spokesperson for Colors said in a statement.

Mumbai, Oct 12: Popular daily soap "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" has completed a successful run of 400 episodes. Its lead actress Drashti Dhami credits the entire team for the milestone.
"I would say 'Madhubala' is about teamwork," Drashti said here on the set of the show.
"It is always a teamwork - be it my directors, be it my producers or DOPs (directors of photography) or the creatives. So it (the completion of 400 episodes) is a teamwork. It's not just me or R.K. (Rishabh Kundra essayed by actor Vivian Dsena) or Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) or anybody...it is just a teamwork," she added.

"Still people are going mad. I get a lot of messages (even now)," Drashti said here Monday on the set of "Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon".
But more than that she is happy to get proper sleep.
During her stint on dance reality show "Jhalak...", the actress was also shooting for her daily soap "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" and working on two shows took a toll on her sleep.
Both the shows were aired on Colors channel.
"Finally, I am getting some time for myself. Finally, I am sleeping for eight to nine hours everyday. It feels good," she added.

The 41-year-old will be seen supporting the show's protagonist Madhubala like a mother figure. The actress has already started shooting for the part.
