Mumbai, Jan 25: Popular TV actor Vivian Dsena says his recently announced exit from the show "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" came after a mutual decision was taken by him, the show's producers and the Colors. Besides, he wasn't convinced about playing a grown-up girl's father following a time leap.

"It is the decision of the makers of the show. I think whatever they are doing is best for the show," Vivian told reporters here Friday at the show's press conference.

"Moreover, wherever I am today is just because of them only. Obviously I am feeling bad that my fans won't be able to see me again in 'Madhubala...' but I.

Mumbai, Jan 23: The story of popular TV show "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" will take a leap forward by a few years in February, and it will lose its male lead Vivian Dsena, who plays the role of superstar Rishabh Kundra aka R.K.

"I would say 'Madhubala' is about teamwork," Drashti said here on the set of the show.

"It is always a teamwork - be it my directors, be it my producers or DOPs (directors of photography) or the creatives. So it (the completion of 400 episodes) is a teamwork. It's not just me or R.K. But more than that she is happy to get proper sleep.

Drashti was balancing television soap "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" along with "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa". The work pressure was so high that she told her choreographer, Salman Yusuf Khan, that she wants to quit.

"I did think of quitting. There was a time when I started getting low scores. The amount of energy, which I was trying to put into my performances, was not showing," Drashti told Ians in a telephonic interview from Mumbai.

New Delhi, Sep 11: Actress Gulfam Khan will soon join the cast of TV show "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon". She will play the role of a choreographer.

The 41-year-old will be seen supporting the show's protagonist Madhubala like a mother figure. The actress has already started shooting for the part.
