In Act 5, when Riley does her big rewind to where Act 1 begins, she passes through the memory of Jay and Quinn having their 'smoke break'. However, that particular timeline that she rewound through was one where Riley tries to save Angela's life the final time, stopping Jay and Quinn ever meeting, let alone having their 'smoke break'.
