When the Discovery channels DMAX and Turbo re-ran the entire series, in the early 2020s, it was re-divided up into 8 shorter seasons. Season 1 and 2 were 6 episodes long, season 3 became 10 episodes ending with "Wet and Wild", season 4 became 7 episodes ending with "85 in the Fast Lane", season 5 now had 7 episodes ending with "All Revved Up", season 6 had 10 episodes ending with the rather appropriate "A perfect 10", season 7 was back to 7 episodes ending with "Tri Power Trails", and season 8, which by mutual agreement became the final season, due to series production logistics and business operational reasons, ended the entire original run with a massive 16-17 episodes as the final episode was a 2 part feature length finale "Metro Mayhem (part 1 and 2)".
