Exclusive: Iconic British comedian Harry Enfield has stepped down as director of his production company after 12 years.

The Harry & Paul star founded Balloon Entertainment in 2012 alongside Skins writer Bryan Elsley, with a focus on “nurturing emerging talent.” Its first commission was Channel 4 comedy Dates.

Enfield was terminated as director of Balloon Entertainment on January 12, according to Companies House. The remaining three directors are Elsley, development boss Dave Evans and company manager Lindsay Taggart. Deadline understands Enfield could still make shows for Balloon and he remains on good terms with the company. Balloon declined comment and reps for Enfield did not respond to requests for comment.

Balloon has been a consistent player in UK TV over the past dozen years, making numerous shows with and without Enfield.

Warner Bros. International Television Production (Wbitvp) has appointed Stefano Torrisi as its MD in Spain and Portugal. In January, the veteran exec will replace Sebastian Moguilevsky, who is stepping down at the end of the year. Wbitvp’s Iberian division produces the local version of First Dates and counts shows such as Netflix drama Brigada Costa del Sol among its credits. Torrisi has previously held senior roles at the likes of Europroducciones TV, Endemol and Banijay in both Spain and Italy. Last Friday, Drake released his new album, For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition, and announced new and additional dates for his tour next year.

It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As the What? is set to begin on January 18 next year in Denver, and will spend two nights in most cities Drake will stop in, performing back-to-back shows.

The upcoming tour follows Drake’s previous It’s All A Blur tour, which he just finished in October, and will perform with rapper J. Cole in most concerts.

Efron didn’t have to audition for the hit comedy Neighbors. Rogen was already very familiar with the actor, and offered Efron the starring role that he gladly accepted. Efron played a wild sorority frat boy living next door to Rogen’s character, which the High School Musical star helped create.

The last-minute concert cancellations seem to be catching.

Bruce Springsteen announced on social media today that his Wednesday night show at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park and a Friday night show at the same venue have been postponed.

It marks the second major concert postponement in the last week. Lionel Richie had to call off a sold-out Madison Square Garden show last weekend because of alleged difficulties making it to New York City in time.

The 73-year-old Springsteen didn’t detail what illness prompted the postponements. Dates will be rescheduled, his social media message said.

Earlier this year, Springsteen had to miss being honored by New Jersey with a proclamation declaring “Bruce Springsteen Day” because he contracted Covid-19.

“Please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled shows,” the Springsteen tweet said regarding Philadelphia.

Shanghai International Film Festival (Siff) has confirmed that this year’s edition will take place June 9-18, 2023, marking the festival’s return as an in-person event following its cancellation last year. The festival was scheduled to take place as a physical event in June 2022, but had to cancel shortly before it commenced due to strict lockdown restrictions imposed on the city of Shanghai when Covid-19 levels started to spike. It was previously announced that Siff Market, the festival’s industry platform, is moving to Longemont Hotel, which places it closer to Siff’s main venue at the Shanghai Film Art Center and adjacent Crowne Plaza Hotel. Beyoncé will be embarking on her first solo tour in six years when she hits the road for the “Renaissance World Tour,” kicking off at Friends Arena in Stockholm on May 10, 2023. Based on the book series of the same name by Richelle Mead, “Vampire Academy” follows two best friends — Rose Hathaway (Sisi Stringer), a vampire-human hybrid, and Lissa Dragomir (Daniela Nieves), a Royal Moroi vampire. As Rose and Lissa prepare to complete their education and enter vampire society, the two must also fight for their relationship as society attempts to tear them apart. Comedy Central announced its annual 31-day holiday extravaganza, featuring two new movies: “A Clüsterfünke Christmas,” debuting Dec. 4, and “Hot Mess Holiday,” premiering Dec. 11.

Both of these movies will air at 7 p.m. The network will announce additional titles for its”31 Days of Going Home for the Holidays” programming slate at a later date.

“A Clüsterfünke Christmas” stars Vella Lovell, Cheyenne Jackson, Ryan McPartlin, Nils Hognestad, Rachel Dratch and Ana Gasteyer and follows the story of real estate executive Holly who heads to a small town to buy the quaint Clüsterfünke Inn and transform it into a resort. While meeting the owners, Holly finds herself distracted by their handsome nephew Frank. It is a parody of more traditional holiday rom-coms.

Anna Dokoza directs “A Clüsterfünke Christmas,” which was written by Dratch and Gasteyer, who also executive produce alongside Meghan Hooper, Trevor Rose, Josh Van Houdt, Danielle von Zerneck, Jamie Goehring and Shawn Williamson.
