This anime is going to be great. Especially, if you liked the Tokyo Revengers early on. This anime is the same theme but better direction and MC. Having read the manga, I know the character development that is coming, and trust me you want to be around for that.

And my absolute FAVORITE thing about this anime is that all the characters are good. The side characters or supporting characters won't be annoying for no reason. It's going to be a fun ride so stick around. Even the antagonists are well written and makes you feel for them as well, which mediocre animes cannot accomplish.

Say what you will about the characters or story. Though there been a couple parts that have got me in my feels.

The thing I want to rave about though is the fights. They are so well done that the only words I can thing to describe them is "beautifully Choreographed" I know they are drawn, but that's how good they are.

It's martial arts fighting styles, a Kung fu anime! I love it and have to give props to the animators. Animating the body moving like that and making it look so amazing takes so much talent! Can't wait to see more.

If you liked the fights in samurai Champloo I think you'll love this. And the "I didn't know the human body was so warm" I almost cried. Someone hug that kid for God sakes!

The setting is truly ridiculous. Each school district is a gang turf. You've got students that attend these schools, but there are no teachers to be found or classes being held. It's basically one giant hangout for gangsters. You got these massive street brawls involving dozens of people, but cops are non-existent. In fact, the townspeople rely on the gangs themselves for protection. Gratefully so. The members of these gangs are also incredible fighters. I'm talking pro level MMA, veteran kickboxing, highly-trained combatants. Throw in over-the-top drama along with some superficially deep philosophy on having "conversations with your fists", or what it takes to get to the top and you've got a pretty good idea on what this show is all about.

And yet despite all that, it's entertaining. If you can accept the absurdity for what it is and don't think too hard about it there's a decent show here. The animation alone is worth your time. It's utterly superb. A lot of animators take shortcuts when it comes to action scenes because it's easier to draw. As long as the audience gets the basic gist, that's good enough. Well, not in this series. They really went the extra mile for these fights. More than that, each major character has a unique fighting style, and they go through the trouble of showing that in great detail. Besides being visually stunning, it gives these people an extra layer of substance that elevates what would otherwise be something closer to generic or two-dimensional. I mean, they're still pretty generic, but since combat is a major feature of the show fighting style becomes a part of their personality. It definitely helps.

There's nothing novel about this series. They use familiar tropes you'll recognize immediately. The story is also nothing to write home about. However, they put these elements together so well that you won't really mind. This is a fun, easily digestible show. It doesn't need to be any more than that.

Good for a start. It has good graphics. And the story is not bad in its genre. The characterization of the main character is convincing. But I hope the characterization of the other characters is also convincing. The pace of the story seems slow. The story is not very deep but it can be entertaining. The variety of characters is not bad, but the logic of the story is not convincing in my opinion. The story is a bit like Tokyo Revengers. The reason for the characters to fight is not enough at all. And even the main character's reason for fighting is cliche. The main character's goals are not interesting but tolerable. Overall, this anime can be watched for fun.

Whether you will like a show or not can only be found out by watching it. I think this anime is doing a great job so far!

As of now the thing that impressed me a lot is the choreography of all the fights we've seen so far. The graphics are great! The cast is really cool in my opinion and it's not that the side characters are just bland ones to fill up the cast. They all have they're own good personality and most importantly fighting style!

At first I thought it was not going to be much of a story and just simply throwing hands, but now with 8 episodes released this has changed. I won't get into it because of spoilers but throughout the episodes the character development has gotten very good already.

I can't wait to see more of this and i'll for sure pick up the manga afterwards!

I was looking for a new anime to enjoy. This is a really good show to watch. A decent plot and some awesome fight scenes. I'm halfway through the season and it's been good to watch and enjoy. The characters are interesting and it's not the typical story with the normal story line. It is a fascinating fighting anime. If you enjoy a good action sequence and character development you'll enjoy this one. Did I mention this anime isn't about mystical creatures, alien invasions, just some students wanting a better community for better living and a better school and will to fight to get it all at all cost.

There are a few really, really good fights in the middle episodes of Wind Breaker's first season. Among the best I've seen between characters without superpowers. But a good high-school-delinquent-fighter-slice-of-life anime needs more than fight animation, and Wind Breaker didn't deliver on plot, character, or setting. I'm not interested in the tsudere protagonist's journey to becoming a normal person, I'm not interested in his thinly-drawn classmates, and I don't believe his town exists. Give me Angel Densetsu any day, or even Viral Hit. But do be sure to visit YouTube and search "Wind Breaker fight" at some point, because the animators worked hard for those scenes.

Ok, so this anime is not fully out at the time of writing this. However, having read the Manga, I have to say this is a really good show. The fight scenes are top notch. The characters are all enjoyable, especially the main character. I don't know, I don't have a lot to say about it, but you should go watch it, just give it a try. Now that I have said all that I wanted to, I am now going to proceed to spam charecters until the required amount is hit. Thanks for reading this mess of a "review"!

Wind. Breaker is a show about a kid that loves fighting and implements key characteristics from othe manga and shows like Tokyo revengers this is a short show but enjoyable in every way the animation is flashy and the story is exciting it is a joy to watch and is an underrated show with a growing story and I am excited to see the character growth of Sakura . The main and the side characters all have exciting backstory's I don't want to spoil the show but this is a must watch that can be enjoyed by the whole family even your grandma or fish will enjoy the animation and story In short just watch it now.

The show is pretty basic and I mean it there is nothing literally nothing new about this show that hasn't already been seen or watch it might appeal to some teenagers but for wide range of people it's not good. Character are basic there are no depth or feeling. Villains are also plain and boring you just don't care about. Backstory doesn't make sense for me at all. Even the basic story doesn't have any logic behind it. Story only goes one way you can pretty much know what's going to happen next from the start a strong kid who want to best the best guy around well that's a new story right. But It still has its moment I gave 4/10 star watch if you have nothing else to do.

I'm sad that this amount of effort and good animation was wasted on a very pointless lacking show when they could've used this effort on more worthy projects the only good thing about the entire show was the animation and character design, like nothing makes sense it feels like the author just wanted to see high school boys fighting and tried to make it deep so bad but didn't even put in the effort and it shows none of the fights had any actual reasoning behind them there is no police in the world there are no adults not even homes shown to us and no family was mentioned in any way the only family thing that was said during the whole 12 episodes is when the guy with white hair that looks like inumaki said he's a only child , I'm not joking this is the only family related thing/line that's said throughout the show and that's absurd since they are 16 years old, and how is the setting a school but not a single teacher or worker or even class is shown , I'm thinking they just took an abandoned old school and go to it everyday pretending to be in school like they even leave at any time they want so this can be the only explanation or that they overthrew the government which is why no policemen or adults are shown 😂 and the main character is annoying af and it doesn't even make sense why he moved to this town how did he fund this? I'm guessing he's an orphan but how did he even move there we didn't even see his house !! Do they all just live on the streets or something ?!
