If almost three complete phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have taught us anything — and let’s not rush to assume that’s the case — it’s that superhero movies don’t need to have sex in order to reproduce. “Thor: Ragnarok” marks the seventeenth feature in the film world’s most ubiquitous franchise, and not a single one of its characters has verifiably gotten laid since Tony Stark seduced a Vanity Fair reporter just prior to becoming Iron Man.
Yes, we know that Pepper Potts has been promoted from overqualified secretary to under-appreciated partner, and it’s safe to assume that Jane Foster had a few electric nights with the God of Lightning before she was written out of existence, but sex is strictly an off-screen activity in the McU. It’s almost never seen, seldom implied, and often not even acknowledged.
Captain America is a virgin. Spider-Man is a virgin.

ABC is developing a drama series based on a Finnish show with Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions
Variety reports that the project is based on the original concept entitled Black Widows by Mikko Polla and Roope Lehtinen. The original series follows three best friends trapped in abusive marriages to husbands that all work for the same company. When all three husbands die in a mysterious explosion during a group vacation, the wives are pulled into a spiral of lies and crime.
Caroline Dries will write and executive produce. This project is officially the first broadcast series to be developed at DiCaprio's Appian Way. Before, DiCaprio’s company has set up projects like a mafia drama set in the 1980s at Showtime and The Right Stuff at NatGeo, which chronicles the lives of the original Mercury 7 astronauts.

While the fall season has changed a great deal in the streaming age, the months of September through December do feature a flood of both new and returning series across every platform.
Below is our guide to fall premiere dates, which will be updated with reviews and more information as the season progresses. Happy fall TV!
Tuesday, September 5
“American Horror Story: Cult” (FX, 10 p.m.). From our review:
It’s not hard to see how Ryan Murphy arrived at his premise for “Ahs” Season 7. To say that many Americans have been living out their own personal horror story isn’t an overstatement — not with border closings, hate speech, and potential treason all enabled by the White House — but the new season manages to undermine the left’s legitimate fears and amplify the right’s monstrous traits all in one frenzied mess of an allegory.

Wynonna Earp ends the season with a birth, a resurrection, and one hell of a Momma Earp reveal. Spoilers ahead...

2.12 I Hope You Dance
It's hard to pull off a great TV season finale. You have to answer enough questions to bring closure to the season's arcs, while also leaving the viewer with mysteries and lingering threads that leave them hungry for more. Hoo boy did Wynonna Earp do that with I Hope You Dance.
Baby Earp was born! Waverly isn't a revenant! Jeremy has some kind of super secret power! And, oh yeah, Momma Earp is alive and well and hanging out in the Canadian wilderness where Wynonna can apparently visit her. Those were just the major highlights of an hour of television that saw the supernatural family show pulling the trigger on all of its Chekhov Peacemakers.

Ruby Rose thinks her house is being invaded by black widow spiders.
The 'Orange is the New Black' star - who was born and raised in Australia - was stunned to see a highly venomous creepy crawly with a red back, most commonly talked about in her native country, on her doorstep at her home in Los Angeles.
Taking to her Twitter account, the 31-year-old actress uploaded a photograph of the spider and asked her fans whether the black insect was the deadly black widow.
She said: "I always thought cali spiders were kinda cute and like Hollywood versions of Aussie spiders then I saw this and now I'm shook. Black widow?"
Although she seemed pretty spooked by the trespasser, Ruby - who has two dogs called Chance and Ru - tried to make light of the situation by joking that she doesn't need anymore animals - especially...
