Filmed mostly in an abandoned building. The structure flooded two different times during the course of filming due to rain. The cast and crew were sometimes ankle deep in water depending on the scene and interior location.
The shoot lasted 17 days in Buchanan, Michigan. It was not uncommon to have 20 hour shooting days.
Because of the extremely low nature of the budget, pizza was provided for the cast and crew everyday on set for lunch and dinner, 17 days straight. The pizza came from a local eatery, which did not use meat on the pizzas resulting in every pizza essentially being a vegetarian meal.
