The premise of the film is good, it starts looking like it is going to be a great story, but it has been told in a lousy way, I have not read the novel, but I do not think that those absurd dialogues and some of the situations appear in it, I rather attribute it to a bad scriptwriting, although this is something that affects very clearly for years the Spanish cinema and series, there are very bad screenwriters, there are also very good ones, but in this case we have had the bad ones.
The great work of the actors is detracted from a bad script and a somewhat slipshod direction, the editing, lousy.
It could have been a great movie, but it was just an attempt.

The premise of the film is strong and initially suggests the potential for a great story. However, it is ultimately delivered poorly. I haven't read the novel, but I doubt that the absurd dialogues and certain situations are part of it. I attribute the film's shortcomings to poor scriptwriting, which has been a longstanding issue in Spanish cinema and television. While there are some talented screenwriters, this case clearly suffered from less skilled ones.
The impressive performances by the actors are overshadowed by the weak script and somewhat careless direction. The editing was also subpar. Overall, the film had the potential to be great, but it ultimately fell short.

I'm not sure how this can have such bad rating. I just saw it on prime it was really great.
You really get the feeling of how it felt during isis. I hope there come a sequel to it.
The only thing I feel is that it was a bit short to fit the whole story.
Would definitely been better as a series of 6episodes of 1h in my opinion.
