The quality of this game upon release was incredible. Mechanics played well and operated with minimal bugs. The campaign and multiplayer were challenging but still fun.
The October update ruined the game. Instead of introducing new mechanics that added new challenges they nerfed all the most enjoyable aspects of the game. The best weapons that people grinded to make better are now useless and the parry and dodge mechanics no longer work.
This is a concerning trend of gaming developers lately. Instead of creating more challenging levels to their games, they alter their already established mechanics. Changes like these are not appreciated by the gaming community and often lead to the downfalls of the games. It is what caused the downfall of Helldivers and it will do the same to this game.

Had a lot of fun with the game but ultimately a month after beginning to play it's showing just how wonky the multiplayer (Operations) is.
Particularly when you have 'Majoris' enemies grouped together whether you get a deflect or not is really up to the game not you. They've clearly not thought this through. Same with with flamer Chaos marines which when grouped you've got to just tank if you can. That's surely not how it's supposed to be played? The whole thing is unbalanced and not properly play tested. All manageable but not sure the almighty Space Marine is supposed to look at mobs and wonder whether the game's gonna let them deflect all four attacks in a second.
Not impressed.
