Viv (Canaan White) is back to face off with Ryleigh (Tian Xiola), the final girl from the original film.
Some of the other original cast members return as well as Ryleigh teams up with a group of new friends to try and stop Viv.
We get a bit of back story on the Viv character, which is cool. The film has a nice mix of horror and humor. Some of the death scenes were both funny and gross at the same time. My friend, Erica enjoyed the film too!
The opening sequence of the film was fun and featured Jessa Flux (Murdercise). She's always a lot of fun to watch. Tian Xiola is also a standout and I wouldn't mind seeing her do more projects. Everyone did a great job!
I was able to attend the movie premier screening at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Evansville, Indiana. It was a lot of fun to view the film in the same room with the cast and crew, and be able to enjoy their reactions.
As a indie horror fan, who grew up on Troma movies, and loves '80s horror, it was such a treat to come out and support a local film, I'm about 35-40 miles away from Evansville over in Illinois, and local actors.
I even bought a glow in the dark Viv T-Shirt. Hopefully merch sales help fund that third movie, the holiday anthology that Canaan mentioned. I look forward to the next movie.
Awesome movie! I had a great time. Jessa Flux was cool enough to take a photo with me. Make sure you check her movies out too.
So anyway, if you haven't had a chance to view "Please Don't Make Me 2" I think it will hit streaming soon. If you haven't seen the first movie get on YouTube and watch it.
If you're local, from the tri-state area, come out and show support for the local talent. Follow your favorite actors on social media to keep up with their projects, some of them will share each others stuff from time to time. That's actually how I became aware of the "Please Don't Make Me" films.
Again, great job everyone. I look forward to seeing your future projects.
