In the original Portuguese version, the Air Shoes commercial is voiced by José Otávio "Tatá" Guarnieri, in a special cameo. Guarnieri commonly dubs Jim Carrey in Brazil, and does so for Dr. Robotnik in both live-action Sonic the Hedgehog films.
Similarly, Mike Pollock, the voice actor of Dr. Eggman in the video game series, voices the same cameo in the English dub.
Finally, Mario Castañeda, Mexican voice actor who frequently dubs Jim Carrey in Latin-American Spanish, also playing Dr. Robotnik in the Spanish dub of the live-action Sonic movies, also voices the same Air Shoes cameo in the Spanish dub of this short film.

Shadow's design comes from the mid credits scene of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (2022) where he was a rerigged Super Sonic.
