This film uses it's runtime well to tell a story that hurts and then heals us. Sean's development in using tools like colour grading and more bold cinematography shines through. The characters feel real and have genuine motivations however that was one area I think would have been nice to see a little more of just to flesh out the characters and get us a little more immersed. Overall this short film understands itself well and tells an important story well without having to explain much to the audience. This is the show of a director who understands the medium of short films and the art of storytelling giving us a very human story that connects to all creatives.
