In the ending days of World War II, allied bombing accidentally released a virus the Nazis have been working on. In the following months, the virus spreads and millions are killed. Within a year, Europe is deathly silent.
Lt. Andrew Smithwick and George Hawkins were two British soldiers who survived the outbreak. Living comfortably in the motorpool in which they were originally stationed, they discover a radio message from a German in Arnhem, requesting help.
