Project "Children of the Sun" is an original fictional staged trailer for an Alexandrinskiy theater play based on the play by Maxim Gorky. Russia, late 19th century, Cholera Riots are breaking out in the villages, peasants are claiming their rights. Protasov is a self-taught professor. He gets excited by the events and he feels the shift in people's minds. He predicts the emergence of a new Übermensch. He's sure that his recent laboratory creation, a living being, will pan out and will become the dawn of a new age.
