Alice Miles has just been promoted to partner at a law firm but she lacks a social life and her friend, Janie, shoots a Cupid arrow to a dude Alice has been looking at on an online dating app called "Be My Valentine." Trouble is when the dude sends her back a reply and they agree to meet, Alice realizes she has been cat-fished because the dude seated doesn't look anything like the one in the app photo and she tells him nicely she doesn't appreciate being played. Chris, the impostor dude, doesn't seem to care because he just wants a Valentine's date and wants to continue seeing her and spending time with her Alice tells him not to bother her ever again but Chris has other ideas and continues to call her, stalk her, and insinuates himself into both her personal and professional life. What will Alice do to stop him? Frankly, at this point in the movie, I didn't care. This recycled trope is tedious, with horrible acting, plots holes galore, a bad script, bad direction, and is just an overall mess. Skip it..

First, the actress playing Alice needs coaching to lose her heavy Midwestern accent as it's distracting. She also needs some acting lessons.
Anyway, Alice's friend intervenes on her behalf on a dating app, shooting a heart at ...Tom Sandoval(??) and when it comes to the date, a totally different guy turns up, named Chris.
This movie is completely unbelievable, as Chris proceeds to stalk Alice and her boss (Eric Roberts), her friend and family, yet she says nothing. Of course she can handle everything herself! /sarcasm.
Alice finally goes to a detective (played by Jackeé) who is completely useless. The usual improbable Lifetime events unfold right up to the end.
The actor playing Chris is kind of a ham, as he's been in several other Lifetime movies including playing the decent guy in the recent Talk, Dark and Dangerous.
Skip unless completely bored.

I actually made an account on IMDb just to write a review of this laughable movie. Every scene was so dumb and senseless- horrible acting...nothing made sense about this movie. The killer's motive- what was it? I didn't understand anything, nothing had a point. It was so bad.
How did the killer know where she was every second of the movie? He somehow always popped up everywhere she went. What was his motive? I am at the end of the movie, and I'm still trying to figure out this guy's purpose. The scene with the dad and the baseball bat was absolutely ridiculous. At the end of the movie it shows him on another Valentine's Day date a year later which leads me to wonder what the heck does this guy do when it's not Valentine's Day for the rest of the year??????

This movie is absolutely terrible. I don't understand the purpose of this movie. I couldn't even finish it, that's how bad it was. It was actually painful to watch during the time that I attempted this movie. The acting is absolute garbage..a turtle could act in a movie better than these people did. The woman Alice, would just nonchalantly ask the man Chris "why are you doing this to me?", in which he never really would respond with an actual answer. His motive was never really discussed, other than the psychiatrist claiming he had 'impostor syndrome' or something-whatever that is. The lead female actress that played Alice is seriously one of the worth actors i have even seen. I really cannot believe this movie actually made it past shooting and editing..a toddler must have edited it and decided to release it to the public. Very disappointing, Lifetime-you's should be embarrassed; I am actually embarrassed for anyone involved in this. Don't bother watching this, unless you want to see how bad it is.
