Exclusive: Hulu is throwing the metal signs with its latest docuseries.

The streamer has ordered Into The Void (w/t), which will explores heavy metal history.

The eight-part series comes from Vice Studios Canada. It will chronicle the emotional sagas behind the most towering legends and unforgettable artists in heavy metal. It will go behind the stage into the real lives of heavy metal icons.

Hulu didn’t disclose which bands will be profiled but don’t be surprised to see a bit of Black Sabbath, Metallica and Slayer in there.

Production is currently underway and it is set to debut on Hulu in 2025.

The series will be overseen by executive producers Evan Husney and Jason Eisener, who co-created pro wrestling documentary series Dark Side of the Ring, which is Vice TV’s most-watched series of all time.

The virtual Bon Jovi comes courtesy of Proto Inc., who partnered with the venue and Big Plan Holdings to install a hologram unit that would beam-in a 4k version of the rock star, as well as surprise celebrity guests. The music talent format has been renewed for its eighth season at ABC and 23rd season overall.

The renewal comes ahead of its Season 22 Grand Finale, which takes place on Sunday, May 19.

In February, Perry revealed that she was leaving the show after this season. The show is now looking for her replacement to sit alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryant on the judging panel. Deadline hears that there have been conversations with a number of high-profile stars but there is no deal for Perry’s replacement.

Los Angeles, April 28 (Ians) ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’ could very well be one of the most loved songs but its creator, Jon Bon Jovi wasn’t impressed with the song initially.

The 62-year-old rock icon recently opened up about his four-decades-long career and recalled that he didn’t initially connect with the band’s chart-topping 1986 hit, reports ‘People’ magazine.

He told ‘People’, “It wasn’t that I didn’t want to record it, but I wasn’t all that impressed on the day that we wrote it.”

Upon writing the song, “it was the simple chord progression, the melodies and the lyrics” at first. “But the bass line came to life in the demo studio, when we took it back to the band and worked it up,” reflected the Grammy winner. “That’s how it became what it is”.

Jon Bon Jovi is shining more light on his recovery process since undergoing vocal cord surgery in 2022.

The Bon Jovi frontman attended a screening and Q&a for his upcoming docuseries, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, during which he opened up about whether or not he could still sing following the surgery.

“What you saw on film was shot last March in that scene when I couldn’t sing well, or two years ago when I was on the road,” Bon Jovi said, via People. “I’m well into the recovery. I’m more than capable of singing. It’s just that for me, the bar is two and a half hours a night, four nights a week, before I say we’re going to go and do any shows.”

He continued, “So I’m well back on the road to recovery — not a day of it’s easy.

In the mid-1980s, Jon Bon Jovi was preparing for his make-or-break third album with his namesake band Bon Jovi. The album that would eventually be known as Slippery When Wet was still in the planning stages when Jon and Richie Sambora were introduced to songwriter Desmond Child. During their first meeting, Child handed Jon a song title that would launch the band into the stratosphere, “You Give Love a Bad Name.” Jon’s jaw-dropping reaction predetermined the tune’s mega-success.

In an interview for Shout it Out Loudcast, Desmond Child recalled first meeting Jon Bon Jovi and guitarist and songwriter Richie Sambora. During that meeting, the genesis of one of the band’s biggest hits took place.

Child recalled, “I went to New Jersey to write at this little wooden house at the end of this cul-de-sac.

Singer-songwriter Jon Bon Jovi has shared that his upcoming documentary will be a totally unfiltered production.

The new docu-series is titled ‘Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story’, reports ‘Female First UK’.

The singer told Extra, “I didn’t want a puff piece if we were going to do a film of this magnitude”.

‘Thank You, Good Night’ — which is a four-part series — also explores Richie Sambora’s exit from the band.

Bon Jovi said: “There’s no shields up on this project. Everybody showed warts and all.”

Bon Jovi have announced a new album, Forever, out June 7th via Island Records. As a preview, the band has unveiled the video for its lead single, “Legendary.”

The pop-country-tinged track is anthemic and positive, fueled by major chords, “whoa-oh” choruses, and Jon Bon Jovi’s charismatic presence. The singer has battled vocal issues in recent years, but his voice sounds clean on the verses as backing vocals by the rest of the band supplement the song’s chorus.

“This record is a return to joy,” said Jon Bon Jovi via a press release. “From the writing, through the recording process, this is turn up the volume, feel good Bon Jovi.”
