Sorry, but throwing some big names in this can't hide the fact that it's poorly written. The biggest problem is the big plot: that night after night they can't see the northern lights. But this is explained by a guy that "feels it" in his gut about atmospheric conditions (on a perfectly clear sky night) not being right for the lights to show up. Weather plays into it only if it makes clouds thick enough to block, but that isn't what's happening here. I tried to post a link to real facts about weather and the northern lights but that isn't allowed. Just search "does weather affect aurora borealis"
