At the 2024 Summer Game Fest, people played Shadow Generations more than Sonic Generations.
The game will coincide with the release of Sonic The Hedgehog 3 (2024) which will come to theaters in Christmas Time the same year.
Sometime after the game comes out, there will be an extra skin and extra level for Shadow via a post game update.
Shadow's campaign will have an open zone HUB world, inspired by Sonic Frontiers (2022).
The original Sonic The Hedgehog (1991) game will not be in the remaster in order to make space in the ROM.
