The most common reason a person would agree to compete on a game show is to win money. For contestants on The Challenge: Battle of the Eras, that so happens to be the case. Jonna Mannion was just eliminated from the competition in Season 40, Episode 6, which means that cash prize is now out of reach for her. Where did things go wrong for the reality TV star? Stick around for the details.
Jonna Mannion Says She Was “Set Up”
Jonna spoke candidly about her elimination with Entertainment Weekly saying she’s convinced she was “set up” by people who were supposed to be on her own team. The pressure was on for Jonna and her competitors because they knew exactly what was at stake. Winning The Challenge means taking home a massive cash price of $1 million split among those who come out on top. That’s enough money to make...

Jonna Mannion says that her going into elimination on The Challenge: Battle of the Eras was due to a setup by her team.
Jonna, a former Real World: Cancun cast member, achieved back-to-back wins during her return for The Challenge: All Stars spin-off.
She also appeared on the World Championship spin-off, but her time competing there got cut short due to her partner’s unfortunate injury.
It was her first MTV season since 2015’s Battle of the Exes II, and she joined the Era 3 team, which also featured show winners Jordan Wisely, Tori Deal, and Devin Walker.
However, Episode 5 saw Jonna and her teammate Cory Wharton as her team’s targets heading into elimination.
While Cory managed to oust Era 1’s Brad Fiorenza from the game, Jonna couldn’t defeat former The Challenge winner Rachel Robinson.

Singing janitor Richard Goodall cleaned up the competition on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” Season 19 and won the top prize of $1 million during the grand finale on Tuesday, September 24. So what was going through his mind when “AGT” host Terry Crews announced him as the winner? “I go into every single section of the show with no expectations, and so when he called my name, I was just flabbergasted,” Richard reveals in Gold Derby’s exclusive video interview (watch above).
“It’s not very often that I’m speechless,” he continues on. “Not just with winning the show, but I sang with Journey on the show, so pinch me! You have bucket lists and then you have bucket lists that you didn’t know existed. All of it is very, very surreal to me.”
Heading into finale night, Richard readily admits that he was “trying not to think about” the ultimate outcome.

Wes Bergmann is among The Challenge’s greats and is considered an MTV Og due to his start on the network.
The two-time winner of MTV’s The Challenge and All Stars 3 spinoff winner debuted on 2005’s The Real World: Austin. His castmates included fellow future Challengers Nehemiah Clark and Melinda Stolp.
After multiple seasons of The Challenge, Wes announced his retirement from the franchise during CBS’ USA 2 spinoff. He was not among the cast members revealed for MTV’s Season 40.
Still, he’ll likely be rooting for his Og castmates on The Challenge: Battle of the Eras, including Johnny Bananas, Nehemiah Clark, Ct Tamburello, Jonna Mannion, and KellyAnne Judd.
They all share the commonality of starting on the now-defunct reality TV show, The Real World.
According to Wes, it’s time for someone to bring back the iconic reality TV show, although fans had mixed reactions.

Top Chef winners have found varying levels of success post-show, but Richard Blais stands out with his multimillion-dollar earnings and numerous ventures. Blais's success extends beyond the kitchen to writing, podcasting, and regular TV appearances, solidifying his status as the most accomplished Top Chef winner. With a net worth of $5 million, Blais continues to expand his culinary empire with new restaurants, cookbooks, and podcasts, showcasing his influence in the industry.
Top Chef has brought numerous chefs to the brink of greatness, many have walked away from the show to bigger and better careers. With more than 20 Top Chef winners in the United States version of the show alone, there's no lack of possibilities for the most successful victors.
It's not entirely clear what counts as success. The number of restaurants, total accumulated Michelin stars, financial windfall, and general name recognition are all options. One Top Chef winner has a bit of each - Richard Blais.

We’re gonna let you in on a little secret. Some of the best seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” are not appearing on MTV or Paramount+ or screening. And while Season 16 was utterly superb and we stan the runways of some of the current “All Stars” queens, there has been some shockingly good “Drag Race” occurring outside of American television. International franchises such as “Drag Race France” (the new gold standard), “Drag Race Mexico” (an impressive second season), “Drag Race España” (consistently excellent), “Drag Race U.K.” (full of stars crossing over the Atlantic), and “Drag Race Phillippines” (the current definition of “that’s wild”) are just a few of the reasons why.

Chris “Ct” Tamburello is typically considered an intimidating competitor by most of his opponents on MTV’s The Challenge.
The five-time champion has shown abilities to excel in all aspects of the game, whether devouring disgusting food, solving puzzles, or physical tasks.
While he’s tamed his inner beast regarding physical altercations with castmates, that beast still exists regarding eliminations.
Fans often refer to his highlight moment when he wore castmate Johnny Bananas like a backpack to win an elimination.
While most competitors wouldn’t want to go against Ct in a physical elimination, an All Stars cast member doesn’t seem fearful about challenging him.
The returning Og claimed he could defeat anyone in that classic elimination event despite not being part of the show for many years.
All Stars 4 competitor said he’s not scared of any Challenger, including Ct

In the sister series “Untucked,” now in its 6th “All Stars” season, the queens throw back a cocktail and dish the dirt backstage on the latest challenge. Prior to the judges announcing the official top two performers of the week that would earn two coveted Beautiful Benefactress Badges, the queens gathered backstage to discuss the week and their chances at winning and who the winners might gift their giveaway badges to.
Of all the queens, Jorgeous was the most enthusiastic about the critiques that everyone received, but especially her own because on her original season she placed in the bottom during this challenge.

Many of The Challenge fans consider Johnny Bananas the greatest of all time due to winning seven seasons of the competition series.
However, his championships haven’t always come without some controversies.
He was part of an infamous moment during his Rivals III win alongside Sarah Rice when he received an option to split the first-place prize money or keep it all to himself.
The rest is history, and villainous words and actions by Bananas on the show qualified him for newer reality shows like E!’s House of Villains and Peacock’s The Traitors 2.
While not all his castmates are his biggest fans or supporters, he has plenty of allies when he plays The Challenge.
His castmate, Ace Amerson, recently appeared on the Death, Taxes, and Bananas podcast and discussed Bananas’ portrayal as a villain.

Project Runway's future was uncertain after season 20, but it was later confirmed as renewed for season 21. Season 21 may premiere later in 2024 or extend into 2025, following the large gap between seasons 19 and 20. Season 20's cast, including judges Nina Garcia, Brandon Maxwell, and Elaine Welteroth, could return for season 21 with new contestants.
Project Runway, which first premiered in 2004, has fans wondering if Bravo has pulled the plug on the popular reality TV competition after 20 years. The Emmy Award-winning show is the one that inspired countless others that came after it. The format was simple fashion designers competing against each other. Created by Eli Holzman, the show has launched some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Christian Siriano (he was the shows youngest winner), Chloe Dao, Leanne Marshall, and Irina Shabayeva. The latest winner in Project Runway season 20 was Bishme Cromartie, whod returned after installment 17.

Laurel Stucky recently achieved her second win in a season of The Challenge by claiming the victory for All Stars 4.
She bested finalists, including Cara Maria Sorbello, Steve Meinke, Nicole Zanatta, and Leroy Garrett, to survive checkpoints and reach the finish line first.
Although her season didn’t include any elimination appearances, she won several daily challenges. She also used a unique strategy for gaining trust and favor with various castmates, which helped her during the final.
Fans called out Laurel’s win because she received an advantage during the final, based on eliminated finalists handing over their Stars before exiting the final.
While many fans were upset, one of Laurel’s former castmates recently suggested she’s the “female Challenge Goat” due to her All Stars 4 win.
Another castmate defended her win despite agreeing with the fans to an extent about the advantage she received.

Competitors faced a difficult situation on The Challenge: All Stars 4, Episode 11.
At the start of the season, host Tj Lavin revealed that competitors needed to earn a Star.
In the first daily challenge, Tj indicated that Stars went to the three male and three female competitors who performed the best.
After that, they could only be acquired or given to a castmate by winning an elimination. Tj continually delivered the point of having a Star to cast members throughout the episodes.
During Episode 10, viewers saw Steve Meinke win an elimination against Jay Gotti, who chose to go into the elimination to try to win his Star.
With the win, Steve chose to take a star from castmate Adam Larson and give it to Ace Amerson. That set things up for an exciting situation when Episode 11 arrived.

For many longtime fans of The Challenge, MTV’s longest-running reality competition franchise, the fourth All Stars entry feels like a homecoming. For starters, the Paramount+ competition — which brings back some of the series’s earliest and most memorable contestants to battle it out for a shot at the championship title — pays homage to its Real World and Road Rules origins, which have all but disappeared over time. Season 4 has been an especially satisfying trip down memory lane with production going as far as to bring back the beloved Winnebago Rv, an emblem of the original Road Rules, for a brief cameo.

The Challenge: All Stars 5 appears to have several controversial or polarizing cast members as part of the latest spinoff show.
In The Challenge: All Stars 3, viewers saw Nia Moore return to the franchise after previously being disqualified during the final of MTV’s Battle of the Exes II for her actions towards Jordan Wiseley.
All Stars 4, currently airing on Paramount+, featured Cara Maria Sorbello’s return to the cast of a Challenge show.
She’d last appeared in a full season’s cast on MTV’s The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2, and many fans wondered if controversies during or away from the show kept her from getting called back.
Viewers will see two more former show winners return for All Stars 5, and both were kicked off MTV seasons due to their behavior.
This report will contain spoilers from The Challenge: All Stars 5, currently filming in Vietnam.
