As a young gay couple finds love in each other and goes through different situations, whether at their homes or in their own relationship, we as viewers get to see how the family copes up with their son coming out as gay. It's a beautiful journey but it has its own ups and downs. And that is what makes it interesting. I for one, felt Kuch Sapney Apne is the story of Kartik and Aman as much as it is that of Rama. It's wonderful to watch how Damodar, as an authority figure in the entire story gradually softens his stance as a father, as a husband and most impactfully as a brother. What I liked most about the movie is what Kartik and Aman are seen doing at the end.
