'Le Cabaret Artistique' was initially a place for artists to come together and discuss their new endeavours. It quickly became a source of entertainment and a place where people could showcase their talents. In this short, we'd like to pay homage to the original intent of Cabaret, while going on a nostalgic tour "through the ages" of not only women's empowerment but the reinvention of the Jazz Club scene that originally catered to the male gaze. The vibe of a traditional Speakeasy will ground this concept as we create our own WOMEN'S WORLD - a club where women re-imagine what a night in these times would be like through the female gaze.
