Writers Jeffrey Butscher and Chip Fraser used their own first names and names of their children as characters in the film's screenplay, namely Jeffrey aka Jeffrey or Geoffrey Pistol, Chip, his son Byron, and Butscher's daughter Brigitte aka Brigette.
