This independent film is a gem for fans, featuring a lineup of beloved actors from iconic series like "Babylon 5" and "Star Trek: Voyager." Their performances are infused with a depth and authenticity that only true enthusiasts of the genre can deliver.
"Space Command Redemption" is more than the sum of its parts; it's a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of science fiction. For the actors, this project was clearly a passion endeavor-a chance to reconnect with the imaginative realms and intricate characters that have marked their careers. Their dedication to bringing this story to the screen is both admirable and deeply appreciated.
So, as you watch, try to see past the limitations in visual effects and immerse yourself in the story's essence, the nuanced performances, and the sincere homage to the sci-fi universe. This film is an invitation to celebrate the passion and perseverance that define the science fiction community.
This just shows that the future of entertainment does not have to depend on corporate figures and marketing, and that it is possible by using lower budgets and while steering away from the stereotyping and opinion molding that the big dollar sponsors force the director to include in their movies to bend and influence peoples minds.
The story is a classic, but the plot is new. A journey towards an understanding and empathy. A liberation from the usual fear and terror most movie directors use today.
I had the same feeling of Gandhi dying when I saw this film.
I really don't know why I gave this movie a 4, it's like giving some money to an annoying beggar just to piss off.
If the make-up of the actors was left to my old mother, she would make them up much better.
And it is better if we don't talk about the special effects and acting of the actors.
The film does not have a valuable point.
Like many movies today, it is pretentious and Low content (Of course, it does not claim much.).
Personally, I still prefer this movie to "Poor Things" Of course.
So.. If you have a lot of time And you don't know what to do with it, this movie is for you.
Personally, I loved the dynamic between Dor Neven (Doug Jones) and Yusef Sekander (Robert Picardo)! And the ending there very nearly made me cry.
I do think there were plot points that I... Would have done differently, but that's the point of fanfiction, isn't it? Lots of potential there!
I loved the actors, and I loved the clear care they put into this film!
Look, maybe it's a bit scrappy, but someone *cared* about making this, and it shows. I think that's probably the best part about film, anyway. Watch it if you get the chance.

- GoofsAt 11:17, when Anson Kemmer is pointing at the sky, a full moon is shown with a sunset just below it. The full moon would never be in the same part of the sky as the sunset. (It's not a picture, because birds are flying across it). It should be a waxing crescent, not a full moon.
