You know how it goes: you sit down with some popcorn, ready for a nice, mindless horror movie, but instead, you get another film trying to lecture you about the dangers of social media, climate change, or why we should all eat more kale. But not this time! "Cabin of Laughs" (or whatever this gem was called) surprised me by doing exactly what I wanted it to do-providing a blissful escape from reality. No hidden agenda, no moral high ground, just pure comedy-horror goodness. And honestly, it felt like finding a perfectly ripe avocado in the grocery store: rare, unexpected, and strangely satisfying.

I enjoyed this film. I am always leary watching new movies as i am sick of all the hidden messages trying to "enlighten me". I watch television to get away from reality. This movie did that for me. It is definitely comedy horror rather than horror comedy. The old guy was my favourite character. I am not sure why reviews have to be so long. Honestly i prefer shorter reviews that hit the mark accurately. The cabin was beautiful. It is not a award winning movie but it was fun to watch for both my husband and i who have totally different movie styles. The killer is fairly obvious but it did not make the movie any less fun.
