I must say this is a very pleasant surprise and I understand why this show has such a high rating. I am a huge lover of reality shows in general and watch as many as possible. Even though I love me some Housewives, this is such a relief to watch a show that is not based on high drama and endless conflicts.
I wasn't too familiar with Tyler Cameron because I didn't really watch his season of The Bachelorette even though I had heard of him. So I wasn't quite sure what I would get but I like shows about renovations in general so I gave it a try. From the first episode I was hooked.
What I love about it the most is the fact that what unfolds is never based on excessive drinking, screaming matches, convoluted misunderstandings or violent confrontations. We get to experience Tyler and his posse trying to get his renovation business off the ground with issues that you would normally expect from any venture in construction and renovation.
The guy is good looking, charming and I felt myself rooting for his success. His friends and family are all delightfully real without any extreme behavior you could expect from the average reality show. I think this one has a chance to last for a long while and it's up to Tyler to keep it going.
The show is well balanced as we get to see the process to the big reveal which is of course the payoff and I found it very satisfying. The only people who might not like this would be those who like their reality more on the dramatic side but to me, this type of show is a lot more up my alley.
Very well done and please, give us more of this type of drama-free, casual reality show where we can sit back and enjoy the view without feeling embarrassed or uncomfortable. I watched season 1 in 2 days so I can safely state that I enjoyed myself tremendously. Give it a try, I'm sure you won't regret it.

Only ever knew Tyler Cameron by name. Never watched an episode of The Bachelorette. I'm a sucker for home flipping/makeover shows so decided to give it a go when it released on Prime, with little expectations. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. The show's concept is no different than most except that it's got the lead's likeability and charm as the main sell (apart from his good looks). Loved the camaraderie of his team and I think they definitely knocked it out of the park with the makeover on each show. There was meaning in the way most episodes were laid out mainly due to Tyler's personal connections with most of his clients. The heart and soul on this kind of show is quite rare. The central goal for him to complete the makeover in honor of his late mom left me in tears in the big reveal.

This is a great show that incorporates home renovation, family, friends and community. Tyler does a great job tying in his community in Jupiter, Florida while also showing us his journey of starting a new business and learning construction. You can see his growth from episode 1 to 8. It was so nice to see the support of his family through the show as well, especially through the work with his mom's gala event. The reveals of each project were beautiful and each was tailored to the client. I also appreciate that they included specially-made accents pieces to show the craftsmanship of the Tyler's business partner, Robb. I binged through it one weekend. I can't wait for season two.

Loved this show so much! I lost my mom in my early twenties and cried so many times relating to Tyler. Have loved him since the bachelorette and can't wait fingers crossed that he eventually becomes the bachelor when and if he's ready.
If you love Interior design and Tyler you are going to love this show. Please bring it back for a second season.
His personality really shines in this show and the relationships with his team and family seems so sincere.
Even his sweet dog looks at him with so much love.
I know this is a very long review but I had to get to the required characters to submit :)

I passionately screamed "NOOOO!!!" when I realized I had just watched the final episode. Tyler, this was the most refreshing, energizing, hopeful, delightful thing I've seen in a long time. I rooted for you, your team, your clients, your family, your dog, and your friends every step of the way. I laughed and smiled and cried and felt anxious and excited and emotional over and over again. Your home renovation work was incredible and the way you and your producers wove real stories about real people throughout each episode hooked me from the outset. I hope you are working night and day because I am ready for season two. I'll give you three weeks, tops, before I lead a revolt. I love it when the good guy wins.
