    Authentic

A story that helped me see what it means to embrace my own authentic identity, to acknowledge and act on my own worth. Engaging storyline. Entertaining presentation. Perfect pace to keep my attention. Superb acting by absolutely everyone, they even found a solid child-actor for the lead. Excellent writing with a solid plot, firmly anchored in history. Genuinely well-done!

    Beautiful

That was an outstanding movie. The characters shared remarkable chemistry, and Sarah's performance was extraordinary. It genuinely prompted deep reflection on life in that era. It's unfortunate how people are treated differently based on their skin color. It's a wonderful narrative that I enthusiastically recommend.

    A Biopic and American History

Sarah Rector was given 160 acres of land in Oklahoma Indian Territory in the early 1900s as compensation for her ancestry. Believed to be barren and useless by everyone, she believed otherwise. She set out to discover the oil flowing below, finding friends and foes along the way.

An excellent biopic about a little girl who believed in herself when no one else did, during a time in American history that barely treated her, her family, and community with respect or dignity. The story shares the history of the Midwest, including the oil boom, the basics of oil drilling, the racial relations of that period, and Sarah's faith. The one hour and forty-three minute runtime is sufficient to share Sarah's story. A great historical watch for both children and adults.

Zachary Levi in a nice turn for a good true story

I enjoyed his squirrelly prospector helping out an African-American family with their oil claim in 1920's Oklahoma. It's sort of like "Killers of The Flower Moon" for that side of history. Not particularly spectacular filmmaking but a nice time, likeable actors and another story that needed to be told.

    Fantastic watch

This movie was fantastic! Great story, great directing, fun but serious and heart warming, with a wonderful cast. These actors made such a great team. They all just played off of each other so well. I saw a special screening of this in the middle of the week before it's release and was so glad I did, it did not disappoint. I truly appreciated this movie and hope it gets the recognition it deserves. Kudos to everyone involved in this film.
