These four Deeper vignettes all present brief but interesting set-ups, and then peter out (pun intended), ending with a money shot and the actual plot premise left unresolved.
One of the scenes is directed by Kayden Kross (the others by W. C. Walker), titled "House Arrest". Freya Parker impresses in the story section: she's confined at home with an ankle monitor, supposedly for habitual non-payment of parking tickets (!) and we see her boredom and agitation at being cooped up alone. A Black guy arrives to check her gas meter and she seduces him, getting plenty of BBC. That's all she wrote -very disappointing gonzo porn after the intgriguing build-up.
Kayden shows up in a NonSex role in the Walker-directed "Curtain Call". It features many extra players (none credited) in a rather dumb story of burlesque queen Kira Noir, managed by Kayden, who has a nightly ritual of being serviced by some stud every night after her last performance. A creepy old guy shows up as the designated hitter but she quickly rejects him, instead telling Kayden she wants the bartender (Alex Jones) to do the deed. He does, gonzo sex, The End. Awfully pointless, but that's par for the Deeper course.
Blonde Amber Moore is extremely beautiful in an empty exercise titled "Amber Would Never". She plays an aspiring writer whose title story has been published, and then she acts it out with sullen Mick Blue, who puts her through BDSM paces -strictly gonzo. Trick here is left for the viewer to decide: is this just her erotic fantasy, as limned in the short story, or is she really Mick's kept woman = sex slave? Since the scene has no ending apart from Mick dropping his load, who cares?
Worst scene features my current worst-actor candidate Seth Gamble, even more sullen than Mick. It's title is "Selfish Brat", referring to his busty partner Blake Blossom. They've just broken up and she's packing up his things as he's moved out of their apartment. Seth shows up, surly as can be, and refuses to take the junk she's decided belongs to him. They argue and both get violent (as noisy music plays suddenly) and the violence turns to BDSM sex.
It's just a typical gonzo porn exercise, with the gimmick that violence like this, a sort of role-playing that both players enjoy heartily once it gets going, is fine and uncensorable because it's not "real" violence. I don't buy this notion, used in porn to justify kink and BDSM content as sort of a double-standard loophole on the censorship of violence mixed with sex (regular porn is not allowed to depict rape or gory killings while in BDSM plenty of mayhem is considered okay).
