It is the fourth installment of the Lost Tomb web dramas produced by H&R Century Pictures that include The Lost Tomb, The Lost Tomb 2 and Ultimate Note.
It continues the story after The Lost Tomb 2: Explore with the Note and based on book 3 of the Daomu Biji novels.
It features a new cast to play the main characters of Wu Xie, Zhang Qiling and A Ning except Zhang Boyu who reprises his role as Fatty Wang.
Adapted from book 4 of "The Grave Robbers' Chronicles" by Kennedy Xu.
This chronologically follows The Lost Tomb 2 and is before Ultimate Note.
