When Ms. Walters is talking to Jordan on the football field her hair is being blown around by the wind in the shots from behind, but perfectly calm in the shots from the front.

The first entrance test was held on Saturday, September the twelfth, but the year is not given. The second test is said to be Saturday, October the 5th, but if this was the case for the same calendar year, one of these dates has to be wrong. If October fifth was a Saturday, then September twelfth would have been Thursday, and both these dates would fit into the year 2013, when the movie was made. In addition, the fake ID card for Heather gives her date of birth as the 28th of April, 1997 (incidentally, a Monday), making her sixteen years old in 2013, but this seems too young to be taking a university entrance type exam.

Kylie's mom says she is taking the CET again in a few weeks- November 9. Colleges start in the fall, so that date would be too late in the year. CET deadlines are usually in April through June.

Kylie kills Meredith by accidentally pushing her over the banister, causing her to fall off the top of the stairs onto the lower floor. However, the impact of a fall from that height causes an injury, but it is not enough to cause death instantly.

When the desperate and determined not-to-be-implicated student Kylie retrieves the bogus ID cards from Meredith's backpack, instead of destroying them immediately she foolishly brings them home and thoughtlessly leaves them in plain sight for her mother to find.

Meredith and Heather are arguing over the id cards they start a physical altercation, all the while shouting "give me the ID cards!", plural. Both of them are in plain sight in front of dozens of students and adults who all heard this. This should have tipped everyone off that something was going on.
