Trivia
First appearance of Lucky Luciano with his trademark droopy right eye. Luciano got the injury in 1929 (before the events of Season 5 took place) as a result of being held at gunpoint into a limousine by three men where he was beaten, stabbed, and dumped into the woods in Staten Island and left for dead.

Goofs
This episode takes place 7 years after the last episode and Nucky Thompson has supposedly been living in Cuba for 7 years but all his conversations in this episode sound like he just moved there and trying to learn and adjust to Cuban culture for the first time. By now he would have been much more acquainted to Cuba and its culture.

Boardwalk is No Longer "Must See" TV

What a shame. I really loved this series. Into season 4, the magic was starting to fade. The first episode of season 5 continued the slow decline. This series continues to bleed out like one of its gangland-gunshot victims along a country road.

I will see it through to the end, but it has been a real disappointment. Nucky has no humor or passion any more. Chalky is the only interesting character I care about a bit. Too bad. I still enjoy the production quality and the clothes. I just do not care much about the characters any more. I just want prohibition to end and have this series end as well.
