It is shameful that many church leaders have become less comforting and more divisive using scare tactics. I do not feel my faith is 'under attack'. Jesus was a unifier, not a divider. No political party or leader can hold our full devotion. That belongs to Jesus alone. We choose peace that comes from joy, the strength found in loving our neighbors, and the grace in showing compassion by encouraging all people regardless of their social station in life.
This isn't just a vote; it's a reflection of our faith. Approaching this election, our hearts should be drawn to a path that reflects His teachings not the selfish nature of a man who deems himself 'chosen'.

We are in times when people who claim they are Christian and hold themselves up as the compass of how Christians should behave, have become completely confusing. This movie totally fails to show characters engaging the needed Self examination to restore the left leaning Who seem to align with Christian values more clearly in our culture wars and this leaves the right lacking the self-examination that faith requires. This means the movie is another failure and does not create dialogue or communication it just preaches. It is a dismal project.
Unable to be redeemed from this issue it makes no contribution whatsoever and is a waste of time.

In this misguided film, the narrative attempts to fuse religion with politics, presenting faith as a necessary moral compass for governance. While the cinematography is commendable, the underlying premise is problematic. The script relies heavily on emotional manipulation, glossing over the complexities of secular governance. It oversimplifies the debate, painting skeptics as antagonists to virtue, when in reality, many advocate for ethics grounded in reason and humanity. By failing to engage with the realities of a pluralistic society, the film risks alienating viewers who value rational discourse. Ultimately, it leaves one questioning its intentions rather than fostering meaningful dialogue.

This movie is a true blessing, as it remind us all how important both personal religion is, as well as how important government is. It drives home how important it is to participate in community, to practice free speech, and to communicate with others. Sticking up for what you believe in, matters, too. It did address the issue of "Separation of church and state," but only gave a brief statement as to its meaning. While it included that the term was to keep government out of the church, not that the church was to stay out of government. The referral to the letter it was on would have helped explain it better.

Judging by what movies have super high ratings right now & the comments for this movie, I'm not sure a high rating from IMDb could even be considered a good thing. I gave it a 7-because it leaves room for more preaching, and I feel strongly that there is a lot more room to show the lacking integrity we see from the left side (& sometimes right) in politics-there's a pretty clear difference though-& it's obvious which side hates God. We need more movies like this one. It's shocking that many Christians do not vote-if you read this please do not hesitate to vote against a liberal government that wants to remove your freedom. They've removed voter i.d. Laws, made our border & security a national threat, and children having gender confusion is only a huge problem because of leftist ideologies that simultaneously want to remove God from every facet of our communities-which include government, education, entertainment, you name it!
If you love Jesus, if you love your country, you'll appreciate this movie!

Look. I'm a Christian. I love my faith. I love religious freedom. But my goodness, this movie deserves -15 stars. It's another in a long string of poorlg written and acted Christian movies that don't seek to actually share God's message and instead want to be persecuted and right. I left evangelicalism for a reason.
Also, for anyone saying "this country was founded on Christian values!!!" The founding fathers were deists. Most of them were not Christian. Religion should not be a part of politics. This is a country for the people, and unfortunately for evangelicals, people are rejecting evangelicalism in unprecedented droves. I hate this movie. I despise its message. Because this isn't a movie about religious freedom, it's about Christian nationalism. Jesus rejected it, and I do too.
This movie is why Christian entertainment is not beating the allegations that Christian media is just bad. CS Lewis and the Chosen are really holding the line tbh.

Continuing in the christian persecution fetish trend of the past films, which I have inexplicably all watched for sheer entertainment value at their absurdity, this movie somehow manages to go the extra mile and contradict itself.
Did you know that there are more ordained ministers in Congress than ever before?
Also did you know that a christian can't get elected because government is anti-religion?
How does this movie manage to square these two "facts"? It does not. It just somehow doesn't even notice the contradiction. Congress is currently composed of somewhere around 90% christians. Yet this movie would have us believe that being a christian makes it almost impossible to get elected and that all of our elected representatives hate religion.
That in a nutshell is the absurdity of this film.
Well that, and also comparing the current state of the US government to the cultural revolution in China. Which is probably a scary statement to anyone who knows absolutely nothing about the cultural revolution.
If this is the best argument that can be made for a christian theocratic government in the US, then at least we don't have much to fear.

This was definitely worth watching. It was as hilarious as that podcast made it seem. Let's start with the villain: a man who wants to govern the country with.....science and reason. Literally. That's actually the villain's big, evil plan. Meanwhile, David A. R White complains that everything nonbelievers don't like, they label Christian nationalism in a movie that repeatedly (and I mean, repeatedly) claims America is, was, and has only ever been, a Christian nation.
This movie simultaneously boasts that there are more ministers in Congress now than ever while ALSO complaining that there's not enough religion in politics and being a proud Christian makes it hard to get elected. This movie complains about the government not giving enough money to David's favorite women's shelter while ALSO claiming the government shouldn't spend money on healthcare. This movie claims that separation of church and state means that government should say out of church, but church should totally be in government while ALSO claiming that it's not promoting Christian nationalism.
It's hysterical and as the movie it is, a comedy, it gets a 10. But for the movie it thinks it in-an effective, well-made film harmlessly presenting the benefits of Christian nationalism-it gets a 0. But that's not an option on IMDb.

Where to begin oh lord, forgive the trespasses of those who think they can act.
Dear God forgive those who think they can direct.
This movie is so bad, its sad to watch and I can hear the good lord contemplating the ways he will kill himself over how bad this movie bearing his name and title is.
The acting, what acting? It is so over the top, so lame and so unrealistic, and the script, even worse t hen the acting.
If I were God, I would watch this movie and then smite humanity starting with a thunder bolt to the director and his cast for creating such a bad film that mentions his name in vane.

Reagan was right in the opening comments in this movie. We are all on the brink of losing all our God given freedoms that our forefathers fought for and for what? Possibly the end of this nation altogether? It's sad that so many hate God, Jesus and His free gift of eternal life so readily to embrace a lie. Those are the bad reviewers. These are the ones we all should be praying for. They are the lost. Very soon the rapture will happen which will leave a great many left behind who will know then what they scoffed about and how much they would wish they were not so adamant about the wrong things and what they are about to face will be far worse than they could ever imagine. We home schooled our kids through high school and are currently home schooling our grandkids. You have the rights in certain states, be sure you live in those that allow you your constitutional rights. Nothing questionable, no nudity, or foul language. A great story of faith and trust in Jesus. Hopefully people will see this rather than Scoff. So sad to see a great nation in decline. If you lose your freedom you'll never see it again.
The negative reviews I have seen have more to do with the hearts of those individuals and not the film itself. The film itself is very relevant for the time. We are in a political battle that is for "power vs the people and principles our country was founded under". The mud slinging on both sides, as well as the cover up of a clearly mentally compromised individual is shameful. Having said all that the plot, cast, and acting are fantastic. It was nice to see some familiar faces that I haven't seen acting in awhile. The Hollyweird movies don't have the substance or class of this film. Let Hollyweird peddle their filth to those that want to see it, I'll stick with these movies.

This isn't the Best of the 4 God's Not Dead movies but it is good. Many of the bad ratings are from people who refuse to believe in God. Yet they believe in nothing. What is the point to live your life without hope? I saw comments that say Christians can't think for themselves when they themselves don't know the true history of this nation and only believe what they are blindly told of a false narrative of history from public schools and the media who has erased history and rewrote it with so many lies.
In God I trust. This movie is very relevant for this past year yet it was filmed before a lot of stuff happened. Definitely worth a watch. And I suggest if you are not a believer. Try to see the Christian side of this movie as it was written from a Christian perspective.

Timely message for Christian community about what could be done to bring country back to Christian values it was founded on. Sad to learn millions of Christian don't vote. It's no wonder this country has become such a mess. I hope many of the country's pastors see the movie and are moved to actually be the Shepard they are supposed to be. There are many good messages in this film. I pray it reaches a lot of people who need a wake up call. It speaks volumes that there are so few showings of this movie but so many junk films fill up all the movie times. Wish the message about this film were advertised more to get more people in the seats for reality check.

"God's Not Dead: In God We Trust" may be considered as a Christian film. However, it is a movie that everyone -- not only people of faith --should see during this election season. Present day circumstances are accurately represented, even revealed, in this film. Watch the movie, and you will recognize that this is the world we are living it today. Underscore the importance of Christians coming out en masse and making America great again...one Nation under God. Come out, and show the establishment that we are Christians who want our voices heard. My only disappointment was that the movie ended too soon -- I would have appreciated more.
"God's Not Dead: In Gid We Trust" is another solid film in this successful series. In many ways, it may be the best of the 4 because it is so relevant to what is going on in our world right now. As usual, the story, acting and production is top-notch This film can be proud that it is as good or better than many of the biggest budget Hollywood offerings out there. The one difference is that it doesn't have to rely on foul language, over sexualized characters or offensive elements to tell it's story and make a powerful point. This is what so-called mainstream "movie critics" hate about this type of movie. A major point of this film is to not compromise your values, morals, and faith in order to be successful and be a leader. David A. R. White once again is Reverend David Hill, a man of conviction & kindness with a profound connection to God. He is very easy to relate to and to pull for as he navigates, many difficult and challenging situations. The rest of the cast is also wonderful including Scott Baio & Ray Wise as the main political villains. Samaire Armstrong is strong in her role as the conflicted campaign manager.
Great movie and highly recommended to watch during this current election season.

This movie depicts a great representation of the world today. Christians need to take back this country. Register, and get out and vote! America is beautiful and currently in chaos. Pray for a recovery. This country and many parts of the world are in turmoil today. Christians need to stand firm. What's happening in Western Europe, Bangladesh, some African countries, and parts of the United States needs to change. Christians can lead the way. We need prayer, hope, and faith. Laws should be followed and enforced. Exceptional actors brought this movie to light. Thx.

Great movie perfect timing. Recommend for all ages.the movie is well done and appropriate for where we are at in USA. Churches need to promote quickly. Everyone needs to see this cultural relevance is high. Hollywood probably does like it but may be the most important movie this year. This is exactly what is going on in our world Adam west did a fantastic job, he was perfect for the part so was acting by Kane. Kane did such a good job I just hope he was acting and not like that in real life. Script was timely. All age appropriate HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL AGES. NEEDS BETTER DUSTRIBUTION SO MORE PEOPLE HEAR ABOUT IT.
This movie was terrific! It accurately portrayed and revealed the corruption behind politics and the evil political agenda at large within our nation. Not all are corrupt but this brings an exposure of what it is like behind the scenes in a nation that has largely left God out and pushed Him aside. The writers and directors provide what it looks like when you place and appoint people that observe what our founding forefathers founded this nation upon. Christianity is the foundation of this nation and Jesus is Lord. I'm thankful these movies are being produced to awaken this nation out of her slumber.
So 9 minutes into watching I had to press the pause button, because I could not refrain myself from making a contribution. So, not having watched the whole move, yet, I decided to post a comment.
This is the fifth installment of the God's Not Dead franchise I believe. Now the first two installments I found extremely interesting and as I am a Christian I thoroughly enjoyed them.
But from then on I have noticed the franchise has gotten more political in its narrative.
Now I am a moderate conservative, and I dislike a lot of the new far left ideologies and views, especially on encouraging children in schools to express themselves what gender they are, and gender transitioning and the use of school bathrooms and locker rooms, all of which I vehemently disagree on.
But to me this government conspiracy to erradicate religion theme that the franchise has adopted makes me really uncomfortable.
I am going back to watching the rest of the movie which I already dislike after watching only 9 minutes.
