    Deeper Dives and Lingering Feelings

"The Summer I Turned Pretty" S3 E2 continues to build upon the promising start of the season, delving deeper into the emotional complexities of its characters and their intertwined lives. This episode is a really good continuation, gracefully navigating the delicate balance of lingering feelings and new connections.

The narrative focuses on the subtle yet significant shifts in the central love triangle. We see the characters grappling with their choices and the lingering consequences of the past, creating a rich emotional landscape. The show does an excellent job of exploring each character's perspective, allowing the audience to understand their motivations and struggles on a more intimate level.

The episode's visual style remains a key strength, with the beautiful cinematography continuing to capture the idyllic essence of summer. The sun-drenched scenes and picturesque settings serve as a perfect backdrop for the unfolding drama and moments of vulnerability.

New dynamics and challenges are introduced, adding layers to the existing friendships and relationships. The pacing remains well-balanced, allowing the story to unfold naturally without feeling rushed. It successfully blends moments of lighthearted fun with the more poignant and heartfelt scenes, keeping the viewer consistently engaged.

Overall, "The Summer I Turned Pretty" S3 E2 is a really good installment that deepens the narrative and emotional stakes. It proves that the series can maintain its charm and compelling storytelling, making for a truly enjoyable watch.

    The ending was great

This episode was still slow and dull, but I did like the ending. I think it's very important to show a couple go through challenges and overcome them. We live in an era where many people just want to give up.

Do I hate what a certain character did? Yes. But considering they were broken up at the time I think they could learn from this.

And I hate to say I was glad another couple broke up. They surprised me with how toxic they became. Unfortunately they will get back together by the end, I'm sure.

Here's hoping the rest of this season will pick up and not drag forever. And let's hope there's no more bullying these characters that aren't even real.
